Hotel on Monroe, BW Signature Collection

Just the best! Had a great time staying at Hotel on Monroe. This is our third or fourth visit to the hotel as we have family living nearby. The rooms are welcoming, comfortable and spotless. Silas (the owner) and all his staff are just so helpful and always willing to go the extra mile.

Decent hotel Very convenient check in and check out. No contact which worked fine. Room was decorated nicely but it was not as clean as we would have liked it. Probably would not stay here again unless housekeeping improves, but for the price, this was a decent choice.

Simple and clean equals perfect This was my first time staying at a contactless hotel. They do have staff and a nice looking main room, but they are only there at certain times. Although nervous about it, I called to verify how the whole thing worked and Jessica returned my call promptly to set my mind at ease. Everything worked to perfection. In and out with no hassle, lines, etc. Room was clean and simple. If you want mints on the table and luxury bathrobes, this is not for you. There was no fridge or microwave in the room either. However, if you want a clean room with a comfortable bed and everything you need, this is the place. Add in a nice quiet neighborhood with many good food options (I recommend the Sheffield Pub up the street) and I was pleased.

Newly Renovated and Nice! I travel to Rochester a few times a year and have stayed at most hotels in this area. This by far was one of the nicest hotels. It’s very close most areas of Rochester and to the counties largest Wegmans! Per some of the other regular guests, they had a recent renovation and it looks amazing. The lobby is self serve and the rooms had new spacious furniture. My new go to!

Everything we needed for one night This hotel was appreciated because we were having a hard time finding a vacancy. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a modern design and a funky barn-like sliding door to the bathroom. There was no one in the office when we checked in or when we checked out. There is a code to put in and we could easily check in but there was no one to ask about getting our discount. Also the air conditioner in our room leaked all over the floor during the night and we had to write a note on a napkin and leave it in the office and hope a human found it. It was clean and the shower was nice but if you like to watch TV you’re out of luck. You have to screencast from your phone . It was fine for a night and had all we needed - including a Wegman’s right down the road- but I don’t think we’d stay longer than that.
