Location to soccer fields is only benefit My husband, son and I traveled to Rock Hill for a soccer tournament taking place nearby so chose this hotel based on the fact that it's only five minutes from the soccer park, was affordable, allowed pets and had an indoor pool (for some fun after the games). While it had all of that, we did not have a great experience and I'll say that we are generally pretty easy travelers and forgive a lot and expectations match what we spend but that being said, the whole hotel felt grimy indoors and out. The hallway carpets were frayed and looked dirty. The water fountains in the lobby didn't work. The hotel gym was not open for use with no explanation as to why. The grounds outside were covered with cigarette butts and generally looked uncared-for. The stairwells were GROSS...trash, dead roaches, spills that clearly had been there a long while. Our room smelled like wet dog (granted, we did travel with a dog so were assigned to a pet room) and we're not 100% sure the sheets and comforter were clean. There was what looked like dog pee on the doors of the bedroom. The bathroom was clean but worn. The sofa was saggy and stained and when we pulled out the bed for my son, the mattress cover was stained and gross. I had to go down and ask for sheets and a blanket as they were not provided but they were "out of pillows". The TV was very glitchy (not sure if it was the TV or the cable) so watching TV was annoying so we finally gave up. I went downstairs to check out the breakfast towards the beginning of service but only grabbed coffee as the area was overly crowded, filthy and the offerings were meager so we went elsewhere to eat. We stayed as it was only for one night and we were too exhausted to try to find a new hotel and I knew that there was no vacancy due to the tournament so did not ask for another room. There has to be another better pet-friendly hotel in the area, don't stay here!

Avid Customer no more Over the years travelling from north to south and back we frequented this hotel many times and it was a good stay. Not a great stay, but a good stay. However, we noticed on the last couple of visits it was declining. On our recent visit we found used chip bags next to the couch, found a gauze pad with blood on it in the bathroom wastebasket and carpet was filthy. This is un-excusable. It could be a housekeeping problem, but with the noticing of recent decline overall we are sorry to say we are moving on from using this hotel.

Would not recommend due to poor management We stayed here with my 3 young children one of which has asthma so I always make sure to find a hotel that is non-smoking. Upon coming back from the pool the second floor smelled strongly of smoke and marijuana. I walked to the desk because our room phone was broken. This was at about 8pm. I was then woken up around 11pm to the smell of marijuana smoke again. The continental breakfast I made my kids waffles and then tasted them, when my son said it tasted bad and the batter was in fact sour. Upon check out on a Saturday I asked to speak with a manager and was told no one was available until Monday, I asked to speak with the manager on call and was told there wasn’t one. I also asked to have the charge to my credit held until Monday when I was able to speak with manager and was told that was not possible. Room was acceptable aside from some minor inconvenience like the door not opening all of the way due to sticking on the carpet.

Just pay the extra and stay somewhere else! I’m a frugal person, but I am telling you to pay the extra and stay somewhere else. The hot tub is no longer there and has apparently been boarded up for awhile, nor the workout room. The breakfast is actually worse than any fast food I’ve ever had, and they had run out of waffle mix because it was rancid. It made a child sick who then threw up every. The room was nice size, however the smell was like a mix of black mold and cigar smoke, someone had carved help on the headboard of the bed, and there was blood on the comforter and the bathroom wall. Feces accompanied you on the wall as well. Pillows are the color of pee. The lady’s at the front desk didn’t really seem to care what you had to say, brushing their hair was more important. Just please don’t, you’ve been warned!

Don’t do it if you have a family… Booked here specifically for the fact they had an indoor pool, hot tub, and the fitness center. Upon arrival the front desk clerk was pleasant and fast. Unfortunately, before entering our room, we noticed the fitness center was closed. We also noticed the hot tub had boarding over it. There were towels along the hallway catching (what I’m assuming) leaking water. Red flags started. When we entered the room it smelled absolutely terrible. There were stains on the carpet and the bathroom was pretty gross. After checking the beds and seeing the stains and dirt, we decided it was not worth it to stay. What they advertise is not what you get. The only good experience here was the front desk woman and the ability to get a refund. We went to another hotel.
