Home in my hometown This is my go-to when I'm in Rockdale visiting my family. The rates are always reasonable and the quality of rooms is always up to par. The water pressure in the shower is amazing and even though you may have to wait just a moment the water gets super super hot! Every staff member I have run into is awesome and they also have a great grab n go breakfast sac! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Mr-GGs-Quality-Inn-Rockdale-TX Good Room and bathroom were clean. Good towel racks by the shower. The shower horizontal grab bar was small, but at least something is there to grab. The a/c unit works. Many electrical outlets on the night stand. The work desk chair raises to a good height. Good wifi. Not good No elevator. You have to drag luggage up and down a central staircase. No shower vertical grab bar at the tub edge. The hotel is still stuck on the bagged breakfast routine. The front desk says that corporate is studying how to ramp up. They need to go talk to other hotels where I have already stayed that have a full on breakfast.

Comfortable Good clean hotel and very friendly staff. Rooms large and beds comfortable. Staff offered good suggestions for restaurants in the area. Breakfast was the usual hotel standard fare. We were able to serve ourselves.

Family Reunion The staff was super friendly and responsive which made up for a few snafus. The room was clean, housekeeping responsive but our door never really fully locked unless we put the security lock on....a little scary. Right across the road from Walmart so we had access to all we needed. The free breakfast was adequate but when the hotel had so many people present they should have been better prepared with refill of items.

Not a bad stay. Came to town for a family reunion. Cannot complain about my state. Room was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Had a good nights sleep every night. Ground floor level is best. Staff was friendly, and courteous. My housekeeper was one of the best I’ve encountered in a long, long time.She always left the room in great condition. Breakfast is good, depending on who cooks. If you don’t use sugar, I recommend you bring your own sweetener. We personally are Splenda people and a trip to the Walmart across the street fix that problem. Other than that you get real good value for your money. I would recommend it.
