Run down and dirty Stayed here with my wife to see a show nearby. Upon checking in it was apparent that the place was a little run down but I'm usually not picky. When we got to the room we inspected the bed due to a bed bug experience we had a few years back. When we pulled back the sheets we discovered a filthy mattress and very tiny bug carcasses. Also, the floor between the bed and the wall was covered with debris including what looked like tiny shells which is a sign of bed bugs. Aside from being bit-up by bedbugs once before I'm not an expert on them. I can't say with certainty that there are bed bugs here. Because I want to be objective I can only say there are bugs here and the rooms are very poorly cleaned. The staff at the front desk offered us another room but it was also very dirty. This time the night table looked like some had vomited down the side. I also found a hair tie between the bed and wall. When we told them that we were not going to stay they offered us to stay at their sister property (The Rockville Hotel) next door. We checked it out and it seemed nicer. After a quick inspection we left for dinner and the show. When we returned that night my wife noticed that there were hairs on her pillow. Upon pulling back the sheets we witnessed a small bug crawling down the middle of the bed. Very disappointing. Ultimately we left in search of another hotel at 12:30. The staff we encountered were great and seemed very understanding. It was as if they were aware that the hotel had substandard conditions. I can handle a run down hotel but there is no excuse for the lack of cleanliness we encountered. I definitely won't consider staying here next time I'm in town for an event.

Extremely run down and disappointing This was my second time staying at this hotel. When I stayed once before (about 4 or 5 years ago) I was really happy with the hotel. For the price I paid I thought it was great. This time I would have regretted staying here even if it were free. It all started with when I first pulled in. There were open Gold/Platinum/Diamond spots right near the door, so I grabbed on and went to go head in. I got out of the hotel and was immediately met by the smell of pot. I figured a guest was smoking but I saw no one around and no open windows. I go inside and no one is at the front desk. I called the hotel multiple times and no one answered the phone. After about 5-10 minutes finally an associate named Kevin walks inside. As he is talking to me it becomes abundantly clear based on his breath that he was the one outside smoking pot. The more her talked the more and more the smell hit me. I went to the room and saw that the room was clearly neglected. The curtains were torn. The shower door magnet did not catch, so the door just kept opening by itself. The entire bathroom got drenched from showering, I would have put extra towels down but they only gave 1 towel for the room, so I had to just leave it wet. The toilet chain would not stay connected, so I had to manually reconnect it every time I used the bathroom. The next morning I went to make myself some coffee, only to realize that the coffee lid had coffee on it. You could clearly tell by looking at it that it had been used and removed judging by the rough edges. This gave me extremely little confidence in how well this room was cleaned before I checked in. When I go to turn on the light above the desk to have my breakfast I realize the entire surround is covered in mold. The hotels breakfast was extremely paired down from what it was before. No bagels, just a few pieces of bread, waffles, some eggs/sausage and dry cereal. The fresh waffles was nice, the rest was nothing special. The hotel seemed to encourage/push going to the Ramada they owned next door for their buffet for $7.95. Giving a crappy free breakfast in order to encourage going to the neighboring hotel to pay is a bit back handed since they advertise free breakfast. I was in the lobby for about 15 minutes between my breakfast and checking out and not one person was taking breakfast the entire time. When I got breakfast at 8:15 the person told me I was only the 3rd person having breakfast there.

Go Elsewhere This place is a scam they tried saying the card was denied even though it was prepaid with Expedia and had all seven confirmation numbers. To make it more interesting, all 7 were booked at the same time with one single transaction and the other 6 said the card was fine. They overbooked us as well and send one of us to the hotel next door and when he got there they knew nothing about it and wanted full payment again. Expedia confirmed the payment went through and said they don't issue confirmation numbers until paid. The place needs an update and the staff is clueless.

Dirty… cockroaches… just disgusting!! The hotel was not cleaned. There were leftovers all over the hotel floor. There were foreign hairs in the bathroom. Not even the mirror was cleaned and had a veil. At night came the cockroaches! A new room had brought no improvement! Just disgusting!
