Another great stay We’ve stayed here quite often and have always loved this place. On our recent visit, the front desk staff continued to be friendly and helpful. We had a one bedroom king suite which had everything we needed for our 1 night stay.

Ok, in a Pinch We were driving from Florida to Quebec and our first night stop over was in Rocky Mount. I didn't choose the hotel, another family member did. Property is a bit worn. Room was clean; bed comfortable. No breakfast but a Waffle House is across road, Cracker Barrel, too. OK for 1 night but I think there are better choices in the area. Front Desk clerk aloof, but helpful. Small store in lobby vastly over priced.

Only ok The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. The room was spacious and clean. My only complaint was less than half a roll of toilet paper was left on the dispenser. There were no refills in the room. At 8:00 on a Saturday night the was no one to call. No hand soap except the body wash in the shower. So when you washed your hands you had to go in the shower to get some soap from a bottle attached to the wall.

Its the little things that make the difference After a long day of driving we are looking forward to winding down and get a good night sleep. Tomorrow will be another long driving day. Right now the toilet is running constantly because the flapper needs to be replaced. After a while they harden and lose their flexibility. This should have been reported or noticed by the cleaning staff. Certainly while the toilet is being cleaned. The rest of the stay looks okay,but not sleeping tonight over rules a lot of acceptable factors. YES I am writing this while in the room trying to sleep.

Room was dirty and smelly, we left. We ended up leaving our room and getting our money back as there was feces on the toilet seat, no towels or soaps were provided. There was a stain on the duvet and the room smelled very weird and gross. The staff was friendly enough to try to resolve the toilet issue. However, getting any rest and eating would be nearly impossible here.
