Not recommended My husband and I were in town for a loved one's funeral. I had stayed at this hotel previously when visiting and hadn't had any issues. This visit, however, we were sadly disappointed. The landscaping was neglected. The pool was not open, nor did it look to have been open for a while. The room itself was dingy and in need of a deep clean. The shower was disgusting, and the wall in the bathroom was in need of repair. The ice machine for our floor was inoperable, and there was a nearly empty gallon jug of some sort of beverage left on top along with other containers. The refrigerator in our room was a nice size, but the freezer needed to be defrosted badly. Our room was located at the end of the hall near the pool, and the door to the exterior was never locked, though there was a key swipe pad. The continental breakfast options were few, and what was available was not good.

Good place to stay for the night We were in the area for a family reunion. Rather than coming home the same day, we choice to stay for the night. We had 2 rooms, both were comfortable and met the need for our one night stay. However, the bathroom in the one room left a desire for an updated shower and for towels that would match, but also that they were not worn through in the centers of them. The only complaint for the 2nd room was the towels were also worn through. Other than these two things, everything else was fine. The hotel clerk was very attentive and was quick to get us checked in. We choice to sleep in late instead of taking advantage of their breakfast, but the space looked adequate in size and very clean. We would certainly consider this establishment next time around, we’ll just make sure to book in advance and request a ground floor as they don’t have an elevator. Thank you to their hotel staff for being so kind and accommodating.

Just Okay. Hotel was clean which is always a plus. Lady at front desk was very nice. Only complaint was the breakfast. Probably the worst breakfast selection I’ve ever been offered at a Choice Hotels. The choices was yogurt and Fruit Loops. That was very disappointing.

Reservation.com Rip-Off Used Reservations.com to make the reservation---Big Mistake! It was not until I pressed "Confirm Reservation" that I saw the full charges. A $67.00 a night room ended up costing $101.00 per night. There were fees and taxes over $74.00 plus a $19.99 fee for "handling." I called reservations.com within 5 minutes of making the reservation and they told me no cancellation-no refund. After 4 hours of calls to the hotel and Reservation.com, they said they would refund the hotel fees, but not the $19.99 "handling fee." I have been online and on the phone with Customer Support for 4 hours today. This is nuts. Yes------I look at $19.99 for doing nothing as a big deal!
