Soudersburg Motel

Bloody sheet and mold I wish I could say that this was a diamond in the rough but it was far from it. We had one of the rooms with 3 beds. The sheets on one of the beds had blood on it (it had been washed and dried). There is no way that it could have been missed when making the bed. What I thought were marks on the wall from suitcases bumping into them ended up being mold/mildew once I got a good look at it. We informed the front desk who stated that they would tell housekeeping to change the sheets and clean the walls while we were gone; however, that was not done. The only cleaning they did while we were gone were make the beds (with the blood sheet) and taken out the trash. The towels had brown stains on them (they smelled clean but it grossed me out). There was some problem with the TV at one point not wanting to work which was fixed and my phone kept dropping WiFi (which was mentioned in other reviews). The room did smell clean when we were there and the male who was working up front was nice when we spoke to him. Unfortunately, we only received an apology for not changing the sheets or wiping down the walls. We were only there for 2 days but I would have left had I needed to stay longer. l do NOT recommend this location and will NOT be returning.

Stay away far away If I could give it a zero I would. First day here there was no hot water at all, told the front desk and they said they would look into it. That night there was hot water but no towels or face cloths. Next morning at 8:15 the cleaning crew chased us out and said they had to clean NOW. Came back later in day, the beds were made, there were two towels ( still no face cloths) and the floor had not been vacuumed. Day three was the same thing. I can’t wait to leave here. I’d rather pay more money and get better service

A overnight bargain but nothing more Let me begin by saying I really WANTED to like this facility. I love that there are still non-chain establishments which carry the charm of an older, more personal way of doing business. That being said, I simply cannot recommend this facility. It was clean enough. Pretty dated interior (which was not a surprise or disappointment to me). However, the fact that the room had no toilet paper (a discovery I made at the MOST inconvenient moment!) was quite a disappointment! After solving the immediate crisis and making my way to the office, I was provided with a roll by a kind woman in the office. The shower took FOREVER (15-20 minutes) to produce any hot (warmish) water. In contrast to other local lodgings, this place was quite inexpensive so I’m not surprised to get what I paid for but want others to know that that they will be getting the same. Also, the outdoor pool was an alarming shade of green. If you’re just looking for a bargain, overnight accommodation, this will give you a place to sleep and be on your way but really nothing more. When I visit this area again, I will spend a little more and choose a place with a bit more refinement and little less “charm”.

Soudersburg Motel. Best stay in Kinzers . We enjoy coming to your motel every year when we come out in August for Rough and Tumble show in Kinzer Pa. We come out every year for the event and we really enjoy staying at your Motel being it is not far from the event. We are Vendors in the Fleamarket . We will see you in August.

STAY FAR AWAY- AND SAVE YOUR SANITY! KEEP YOUR IQ LEVELS! DONOT STAY HERE! DONOT STAY HERE! My husband and I had made a reservation to stay here, But thank God found other reservations. When I went to cancel the reservation- I was denied the fee of the first night to be waived. Luckily the card they had on file, was not a card that we do not use- so when then refused to waive the fee, they attempted to charge this card, and it was declined because I locked my card. I called the hotel, and the front desk clerk was the RUDEST ONE WOMAN I HAVE DEALT WITH IN A LONG TIME! I ask multiple times for her name, and she not only refused to give it to me, she hung on us multiple times. I finally went back to the conversation I had with the booking site, and found out her name is Brenda. Just her attitude alone made me glad that I decided to stay elsewhere- I have no IQ level at all after my first encounter with this woman! When I told her I had locked the card, and she would never get a penny- she informed me that she would tell her owner, whose name is SID, ok, and he’s going to do what? I will be contacting the owner in the morning, and I am praying that He decides to fire this woman! I can’t believe how RUDE she was! Spend a few extra dollars and go elsewhere and keep your IQ level and sanity. I wouldn’t stay in this dump if they PAID me to stay there.
