A Cozy Gem What a great find! This place is gorgeous and truly special. A tiny bit spooky which adds to the magic of it. The owner Mike was lovely, as was the receptionist Michael. We stayed in the suite (2 bedrooms) and the beds were very soft and comfortable. A/C was nice and cold. We had plenty of room. The sitting room where they serve a light, delicious breakfast (muffins, bananas, clementines, and coffee/tea all day) was very pretty and cozy — I'd love to sit there all day and read a book. The back outdoor seating area is beautiful too. Plus, location was perfect. We could walk just 1-2 minutes to some local restaurants, cafes and bakeries. My recommendation is to book through them directly via their website/calling--sometimes booking sites charge local places like this a fee. We will be back! Thank you Mike & Michael the spectacular stay and wonderful local recommendations.

Relaxed vibe We stayed here recently ( 2 nights) to attend a wedding close by. Kyle is a great host. Checkin was seamless, our room immaculate and spacious, the grab-n-go breakfast was perfect for us. Good parking, situated on a river and quiet location. Highly recommended.

Comfortable historic hotel We were visiting friends about 1 mile away so this was a perfect place to stay. Our room had good A/C and wi-fi. There was a reasonable desk and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and up to date. Most of the rooms are on the second floor so be prepared to lug your bags up a long flight of creaky steps. Grab and go breakfast was very good and included a variety of fruit (banannas, apples and oranges), yogurt, Keurig coffee and several varieties of large muffins. No hot food bt this was a very good substitute. Lots of comfortable common areas for your use. Big patio out back. At one time they had a restaurant but that is no longer functioning. Perhaps as we recover from the pandemic, it will come back. No daily housekeeping, similar to most hotels these days.

Great place to hang out! The hotel was nicely updated yet maintains the feel of the Old Hotel overall. Kyle was an excellent host and guided us on things to do nearby. The outdoor deck as well as the lounge were fantastic places to hang out. We walked to restaurants and the theater nearby. Good off the beaten track location to visit nearby vineyards, breweries, and historic sites.

Diamond in the rough The hotel was very cool - the Town was a little slow Most stores were closed -really great restaurant across the street called the garden-The owner there prepare food all day long and sings and dances at night while you are dining-Music and dancing from her hometown of Jordan -Close to hiking trails abandoned mines and the historical Mohonk Mountain House we will definitely return one day-(and also like to mention Kyle at the front desk was very helpful and very informative about places and things to do in the area)
