Good Location The location was really good and our room had a partial view of the Cathedral! The room was a nice size and had very basic decor. Our checkin was smooth and since we arrived early they stored our luggage. Nice reception. In the evening we decided to have dinner at the hotel and asked at front desk for a menu. Not helpful or friendly. Decided to try the restaurant anyway and had a very nice server and a really delicious dinner! Nice breakfast buffet and easy and pleasant check out!

Good Location Mediocre hotel in the middle of Rouen centre. I couldn't use the parking facility since all the roads were closed for the traffic. I didn't know that I required a pass code to open the barriers. The parking directions were not clear on the website. The related information was sent on the reservation day and I was unable to check my emails.

Basic with good location This Mercure hotel offers basic amenities in a good location. The rooms are a reasonable size but looking rather tired. The bed is good but the pillows are small and lumpy - really need to be replaced. The bathroom is fine, tub with shower, good accessories, big towels. Breakfast is extensive - many hot and cold choices. Coffee from the self-serve machine is quite good. The staff are ok but not overly helpful. Easy walks to all the sights and restaurants.

historical sights Hotel in excellent position near Cathedral, large clock and Beau arts museum. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast superb, but if you have disability there are 3 or 4 steps up to breakfast area and no ramp. Some rooms have better views than others. There were 2 lifts.Room had large television with plenty of channels. Unlimited water in refillable large glass bottles in reception area.

Great location, mediocre hotel Not sure I would stay at this hotel again. It's a nice hotel with some good parts but the rooms (or ours did) really let it down. The public parts of the hotel are really nice as is the food & drink. The staff are great. They just seem to have no inspiration in the rooms. Small bedside tables with no drawers, nowhere to put the things you want close at hand. Paper cups for your tea and coffee. Tea and coffee satchets were hit and miss, only one sachet of coffee whitener and no milk. These might seem small issues and I suppose they are but you expect decent facilities in your room.
