Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Round Rock, TX

Horrible customer service First off, I understand that all hotels can't be updated, that's not why I am giving this hotel a poor rating. We were with a group that booked NINE rooms. It was the weekend of a volleyball tournament, so prices were doubled (which I know is the way it goes). Perhaps if it had been half the price, it wouldn't have been so bad. 1-There was no access to bottled water. Both vending machines were out of service. When we tried to call the front desk (assuming they had some to offer), the phone in the room didn't work (at all), so I had to search the number and call on my cell. When I did, he said the only option was to go get water from the gym water fountain. I also told him the phone didn't work, and there was zero response, so I assume he knew that. 2-On the same call, I asked how we get coffee since we used Saturday's but needed Sunday's and he said to come get it downstairs. No customer service. I decided to just go without. 3-We had to leave before 7am to get to the tournament. One of the ladies in the group I was with asked if she could grab something to take with her (It was about 10 minutes early), and she was told no. Seriously? 4-Lastly, one of the moms from the team had booked rooms for everyone. I called to move one room to my name. I told the man who answered that I could give him a card but it wouldn't be the one I was going to pay with, he said no problem. He said, just know that there will be $100 pending but it will go away. When I checked out, the lady there asked for my room and then said, "ok, you're checked out." I told her what I had discussed and she totally blew me off, and said she was sorry he told me wrong. Again, no customer service. Definitely would never return to this hotel again. I hope all Radissons aren't like this.

Happier Elsewhere There were several problems that we faced at this property. The facility is outdated. It is dirty. Our carpet was stained. The couches were stained. The bathroom was in disrepair. The sink and bathtub did not drain. The sink would fill up as soon as we started to brush our teeth. Nothing would go down the drain. We had 2 tv's in our room and neither worked properly. The second room that we booked also did not have a functioning tv. Neither of our exterior doors would lock. The first staff that we contacted about it said that we just had to slam them. We tried that for a day, but they never locked. The next day, we talked to another staff member and she used a hammer and plyers to jam the door plates to make them lock. That finally worked. The breakfast was inedible compared to all other hotel chains that we regularly stay at. When we asked for a 15 minute late check out, we were denied. The nighttime staff spent his time outside the facility in a rocking chair smoking all night. We had to go outside to find him. The couches in the check-in area of the facility are stained and we did not want to sit on any of them while waiting for other guests. We checked out and went to another hotel partway through our stay.

What a trash experience Honestly the worst hotel experienced I’ve ever had. The beds were literally the only good thing. The internet garbage the carpet room in its whole is garbage, but that’s not even the worst part, THE WHOLE STAFF IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE, everyone was rude from the owners to the managers to the night shift there wasn’t a single person in that hotel that even showed a bit of hospitality in fact it was as if they don’t even want people at their hotel _. Do not come here I promise you the rooms are overpriced the staff is horrible the breakfast is horrible nothing about this hotel deserves a star. 0/10

Great place The staff was very professional. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. We all enjoyed the breakfast as well. We will be marking this hotel as a favorite for future trips to the Round Rock area.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! The worse hotel I have ever stayed at and the rudest owner. Absolutely NO customer service skills. The room carpet had ketchup looking stains and was old and dirty, walls had stains very old and muggy. Trust me I tried getting another hotel but they were all booked nearby and we had to be at the state championship wrestling tournament early the next morning. When we got in late that night after a long day at the tournament we walk in and there were roaches in the bathroom!!!!! Disgusting!!! We slept in our clothes that night!! I can go on and on about how rude and horrible the lady at the front desk was. And to top it off we pre paid $140./a night. This hotel isn’t worth even $40/night. GROSS!!!!!!
