Great option This is a perfectly serviceable hotel. We were in town for a soccer tournament. The lobby was great - lots of places to gather with friends and even a full bar in the evenings. They had a wonderful free breakfast and free coffee every morning, which makes traveling with kids SO much easier. I would not recommend the indoor pool because it’s too cold and insanely loud with kids, but if you’re looking for a great pool, then you’re already on the wrong track if you’re looking at a Holiday Inn in Round Rock. It was clean, convenient, safe, affordable, and in a good location. I would absolutely return for another stay if another tournament takes us that way.

Underwhelming. The hotel is conveniently located with lots of restaurants close by. It is in need of an update. Room was musty with poor patch work repairs to carpet. Room was fairly clean but we did dispatch with some unwelcome bugs in the bathroom. The fitness center (if it could be called that) needs some serious attention. Broken equipment, no towels or water cups. Business center out of order. Lobby is nice and quite welcoming and the breakfast was OK. It was fine for a night but wouldn’t stay again.

Book elsewhere We stayed on the 4th floor and we smelled musky mildew the moment we opened our door. The floor felt wet. There were ants all over the bathroom. Things were in disrepair (see picture). Overall not well maintained. We came to a conference with several friends who all stayed in MUCH nicer hotels for way less than the $200 we spent. We assumed (incorrectly) that we couldn’t go wrong with a holiday inn…. Book somewhere else!

Unauthorized charge and rusty tub I was very disappointed in this property. I booked 2 rooms and prepaid. However an additional $86.51 was held on my card and no explanation. When talked to manager shw said it be 2-3 bus days to get money back. The bathroom tubs are also rusty..

Bad got worse Stayed here two different nights. The first time was decidedly mediocre at a great rate. It felt better than a motel but not what you’d expect from the brand. The lobby and inside were sparse but clean. The bar looked great. Some oddities the first night were a skunky musty smell on the second floor. The ice machine had also appeared to have been removed after it broke and replace with a sign to go upstairs (classy). The room was outdated but functional. There is FedEx depot next store and unless you close the blinds it will seem light daylight all night (not exaggerating). Also a bit of noise from that direction. The second night we received a different room and this is where the fun began. Looked like a bad DIY job in the bathroom that led to water flooding everywhere. I’d wouldn’t have been okay with this out of a cheap motel much less a Holiday Inn. The breakfast was the amongst the worst I’ve encountered with hotels. The saving grace was yogurts and cold cereal. If you get the right rate consider this hotel... but I wouldn’t pay Holiday Inn prices.
