Nice place to stay The place was nice and comfortable. Slept pretty well. The heater can be a little loud. There is hot coffee in the common area 24/7. They don’t serve breakfast and you need to pay $15 to park inside. There is an elevator. They could not accommodate handicap accessibility.

Don't stay here/inability to solve simple problems I would not stay here. If you have a simple problem with things working in your room they don't have the maintenance to fix it and they don't have the ability to simply move a guest to another room, when the room next-door is vacant. The customer service and reservation staff on their 800# are overseas and what the overseas team is told and what the hotel team is told are two different things . No one wants to be responsible or make things right. I don't want to be told to call the 800# when any other Hotel can adjust a bill right there, right then. I did call, was told I would be called back, that didn't happen. I went in a circle. Good luck trying to communicate with their executive office and find a phone number or email address. When I mentioned what happened to a friend he said that Choice Hotels have gone downhill. I agree and will not stay at any Choice Hotel again. I prefer to talk to management than write reviews. I would rather them solve the problem. I really feel they are just interested in "cheap". Their personnel are nice but poorly trained with no ability to do anything except apologize.

Don’t tighten your belt too tight I’ve been coming up here to midtown neighborhood for well over 30 years. I’ve stayed at several different hotels. I’ve been here at the Inn off of Capitol Park about six times, I usually get myself placed in an interior room, which are definitely quieter. I think the prices are fair. However, I have noticed a big difference in what is being supplied in the rooms such as shampoo, soaps, etc. I also was a bit disappointed that the complementary breakfast, which made this a real bargain place to stay has, since been stopped. now I can understand the need to cut back on certain things to make your place profitable. However, when you give a teaspoon of shampoo for a five day stay, that is a bit comical, and to be quite honest I really never realized how nice it was to have the complimentary breakfast every morning until now, please bring it back…

Go elsewhere. An antiquated building, overpriced, and seriously cannot move me to a room that doesn’t face the main road? This place is basically empty tonight and all the rooms are the same, so why is it “not something the system lets me do”…. Such a pathetically stupid excuse.

Excellent place for the solo traveler I stayed in Room 317 February 7-10, 2023. I was a solo business traveler. The room was just fine for what I needed. Comfy bed, good TV, warm shower and small desk. The hotel is very walkable to the convention center and many restaurants. The hotel is QUIET. I only saw a few other guests the entire time I was there. This hotel is much cheaper than the convention center hotels. I'd stay here again for sure.
