Excellent! I have rarely experienced such a warm, friendly and accommodating hotel and staff. Spotless rooms, fresh, clean smelling bedding, all the amenities (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, iron, hairdryer) plenty of outlets for devices, friendly, welcoming staff, dog friendly, nice little gassy area for dog walks, free doggie doo baggies. Simple breakfast but tasty. I am sold for life! My husband and I will stay at Red Roof Inns from now on! We even became rewards members, we were so happy!

Worst motel experience ever, the manager here is VERY unprofessional and their staff is extremely rude and poorly traine AVOID THIS DUMP! This place is an absolute joke. (it's NOT in Elk Grove, btw. It's in South Sac) This property is extremely loud and ghetto. The manager Rakash is unbelievably unprofessional and after speaking with him I can see why this establishment is ran so poorly. I checked in and specifically asked for a quiet room. The woman at the front desk must have given me the loudest room on their entire property, facing the street where I can hear traffic. I called and the front desk clerk Melini was extremely rude and unaccommodating. She stated that there aren't any other rooms available, which I found hard to believe since there weren't that many cars in the parking lot. Judging by how quickly she informed me they didn't have any other rooms, I highly doubt that she even bothered to look. When I arrived I was advised that they allow late checkout up to one hour (12 PM). I called the morning of my checkout and was informed by Alexis that it's an additional $30 if you want to checkout 1 hour late (12 PM)(something that wasn't disclosed to me beforehand). The way this place is ran is an absolute joke. I'll never stay at another Red Roof Inn again.

Debit Card Double Charged My lover & I stayed 2 nights here, and everything was the same since I've stayed with then in the past before. After checking in with our debit card (cashApp debit card) looking at the statements after recieving a text alert with what looks like Red Roof inn double charged my account. The next day we went up front to see front desk about the situation with my account, all the lady rep said was that it didn't look as if they double charged us double only once from her screen and printout receipt but still we were out of another $165 from my account. Point is we were never mentioned of no security deposit to be withheld from my debit card when we checked in if this is the case. But, I hope that it really is just some sort of security deposit that I will soon get back into my account. Got me worried after reading other people's post & reviews about them getting charged double and never getting that money back. BTW, the rooms comforter that usually supposed to come already washed and neatly spread across the bed was unacceptable, so my gF who's not the type to argue with anyone, goes to the car and brings out our emergency blanket (comforter) from our trunk to replace the dirty stained one that the motel here provided. SMH, we should get some sort of discount as well since there isn't any breakfast provided anymore due to covid-19 pandemic. But it is a nice place to have your pets and not get charged some initial $50 pet fee (that we won't get back) and then charged additional $5 for each day we stay with them like other places, terrible. So by that I gave this review a star liking back making this review poor. Thanks.

Terrible, I have smokers Cough now I stayed here for 2 nights from 6-15-19 to 6-17-19. The whole experience was TERRIBLE for my kids and I. From the beginning it was ruined, I came in to check in and my reservation was not at the hotel, even though I had a reservation confirmation number, they still didn't have it. Called the reservation people back and they then faxed my reservation over to the desk. -- Delaying the checkin process now atleast 30 minutes. We drove from WA with Kids and everyone just wanted to check in and take a nap... NOPE that didnt happen. I let the desk clerk know that I was traveling with my family and that we needed rooms close to each other. WELL, the rooms that we got was in TWO separate parts of the hotel, NO WHERE NEAR TO EACH OTHER. I spent the two nights alone in a room with two infants which is why I needed my family close to me. The deal breaker for me was the fact that despite telling the desk clerk that I had 2 very little childen, I was PUT IN A SMOKING ROOM!!!!!!! This really upset me to the point of this review, YOU MUST BE A DUMBASS TO CHECK INFANTS INTO A SMOKING ROOM. When I called the front desk to tell them that I got put in a smoking room, and I have infants, they cannot be in a smoking room. I was offered a housekeeper to come up and spray the room some more, with MORE HARSH FUMES for my babies. --- Well, the housekeeper never came! & we NEVER got a room change. My little babies stayed in a smoking room and i pray that their little lungs are not affected by this hotel's negligence. My babies and I spent our stay in a smoking room away from our family and support. Shame on you hotel, for making a young mother and infants suffer at your hand. ALSO: IF YOU CONSIDER MILK AND CEREAL TO BE BREAKFAST, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. -- Not for us, we prefer atleast some fresh fruits, more options then just Cereal and Waffles. Better to go to Days Inn down the road with your money. I will never be staying here again, and I will be letting all my family, friends and everyone know of how you treat your guests.

Dirty roach room, management doesn't care! Our hotel room had roaches. The management didn’t really care. Asked for the owner to reach out, he never did. Contacted the corporate office, we were told “with millions of customers, they can’t satisfy everyone.” Wow! Filed complaint # 13121966 with the local Better Business Bureau. Red Roof Inn never tried to make it right. So the BBB said they can’t do anything, to contact the individual owner. 2 months of saga, back to square one. Will never stay at any Red Roof Inn again. Cheap, no-class franchisees and service with an attitude!
