Would be more accurate to be called a crack house than a hotel. Would be more accurate to be called a crack house than a hotel. So much went wrong its hard to know where to start. 1. They charged us $120 more than advertised. 2. They don't actually have a hot tub 3. Some dudes tried breaking in 4. They gave us the wrong room 5. Service was incompetent 6. The pillows sucked 7. Phone wouldn't call front desk 8. Outdated and filthy Save your money, go anywhere else

NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN - SKANKY VIBE It's a dump. Door to adjoining room occupied by a stranger was OPENED at 10 p.m. by the man in that room. Security didn't have a key or was unable to lock the lock because it was in such disrepair. General "Manager" refused to address this with us. Other fun facts: hairball in the shower, leftover food in freezer, unidentifiable goop on walls of freezer, curtains partially shredded, cigarette smell in non-smoking rooms, and NO ELEVATOR. Front desk person said that a sign informing guests of the lack of an elevator "had been posted in the lobby for a month." Well, now, if we lived in Salem so we could see that sign, WE WOULDN'T NEED A HOTEL. They had our contact info but didn't notify us, probably because they wanted us to be within the 24-hour nonrefundable window before we found out - which we would have done, as the stairs were difficult for one person in our party. The whole place creeped us out, very skanky vibe, and with the GM's lack of interest in a strange man having access to our room, I would say this place is not safe for women. Do your due diligence, then stay away. I have pictures and video of all this, but I don't think it will post on this site.

Disappointed! We stayed at Shilo Inn last year while it was being remodeled, we had a decent stay considering, continental breakfast was great. So, we told everyone in our group to come there for our annual trip and our 2nd experience was Disappointing! The pool room is extremely cold and not enjoyable. There is no hot tub, sauna room, workout room etc. Our room was half decent. But my biggest complaint is that we were charged a deposit that I was told would be returned within 3 days of our stay, Day 3 still not there, day 4 my account now shows instead of returning my deposit they charged me again, when I called, they said it was returned but will take 5 days to show on my account. I would have been ok if I was just waiting for the $100 deposit, but instead my account is negative because I was charged twice, and I am waiting on $391.24. We won't be back.

Gross!!! This place is pretty gross. Looks like the sheets weren’t changed. The shower/tub still had pieces of hair in it. The entire place has a musty old smell to it. Breakfast was ok though. Would not recommend ever!!!

Excellent hotel. Excellent hotel. We had a very clean ADA handicap room which was fully accessible. Plenty of ice. All rooms are on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. At 5:30 am the power went out for the entire area so the elevator did not work. My wife is in a wheelchair and cannot walk stairs. The manager, Kalle was very helpful and called the fire department and 4 firemen carried my wife down the stairs. The breakfast was excellent when the power came back on - waffles, biscuits & gravy, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, apples, oranges, fruit cups, juice, muffins. This is an excellent hotel.
