The Only Place You Should Stay in Sallisaw! I went on a road trip with my 14 year old daughter, we stayed at several hotels along the way, and the one was my favorite. The rooms weren’t as big as some other places, or decorated as nicely, but the people working there were nice, it was clean, and it was the place I felt the safest. Someone is there all night and she had a view both ways of all the doors. It felt like someone was watching over us and or vehicle all night! I highly recommend staying here!

Budget Stay, No Frills but Does the Job If you're used to the amenities you recieve from less wallet friendly chains, keep going. This Motel 6 is an inexpensive, clean place to rest your head after a long day of traveling. Nothing fancy, just a bed, a fridge, microwave, small table and a bathroom--but it's clean, secure, and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and the location is just off I-40.

A place for a single night or 2 of sleep and relaxation! We travel as two adults, no kids no pets This hotel is older but is undergoing some renovations. Our room 104, was in the front and the clerk, who was a very nice man, said the completely finished rooms were in the back but were all occupied. Our room was very large for a single bed (full or queen, not sure). They have a refrigerator and microwave, sadly our fridge didn’t work and we have a cooler full of lunch meat, but we’re tired and didn’t complain. and a few areas could of been cleaner. (Under microwave, edges of flooring by the walls, and outside garbage needed emptied, but that’s even at some higher priced places) The main things were the comfortable bed, parking right outside of your door, which is nice. We had newer hardwood floors and sink area. It’s kinda eclectic with the new and old mixed together. The bathroom was clean but needs new tile and a tub, but has a new toilet. Lots of hot water and pressure was good. Walls need some work and a coat of paint, along with a new bathroom door that fits properly. For the price and location it was worth $50, but if I stayed again I would definitely ask for a complete remodeled room, if available. Wifi worked good for our purposes. You could hear a train here and there and road traffic so another reason for the room in the back of the property if available, but it doesn’t bother me, I could see how it might someone else, I sleep with the tv on and run fresh air from heating and air conditioner, so I really couldn’t hear it. Coffee in the lobby at 5 am and pm, and Motel 6 chain doesn’t serve breakfast, but we know this from staying at this chain several times a year across the country so we kinda know what to expect. This is a budget hotel so it’s a decent value for a single night to lay your head, s#%, shower and shave. There was 24 hour laundry. This is a good location on the edge of town, with a General Dollar across the street and KFC/Taco Bell within walking distance, and easy on and off of highway 40. You can always look at your room if your unsure, the clerk even asked if we wanted to take a look before we paid, we chose not to and it was basically what was expected. It’s not the Hilton but you’re not paying for it either. We’ve paid more for the same quality and less for more, it’s kinda locations and luck of the draw. Overall we enjoyed our stay also the night clerk was as sweet as she could be. We would most likely stay here again if passing thru. Thanks for a nice stay and Merry Christmas!
