Suits me to a T I always enjoy staying at the Plaza. The rates are reasonable and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. It is in a great location. The rooms are older and it shows a little bit: The caulking is cracking in the tub, no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, just little things. The staff is always helpful. You have to pay for parking if you want it and the same goes for breakfast. There is a small Refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot in the room. There's free coffee in the lobby.

Far, far from a Best Western, vey bad experience Mold on shower tiles, celing falling in, no parking had to pay extra to park. Other Best Westerns offer free breakfast, had to pay 3 dollors of a dognut, Parking was 1/8 of a mile away. I have pictures of all of this. Pictures of all things stated.

Comfortable and clean, noisy and hidden expenses (deposit, parking), few amenities. Best thing was beds were very comfortable! Room was clean, even carpet seemed clean. Hotel is right in the middle of a lot of great things to do if you are on leisure trip. It was noisy even on 9th floor with tram/train on street and lots of traffic. Internet went down sadly, with no notice and was still down when we left. Though they provide a paid breakfast room - it is not cheap ($2.75 for a donut). Very few amenities outside the room, though there were some foods you could get at a little 'store' corner at the check in desk. Trash was an issue as they didn't clean the room in the 2 days we were there and there was no-where to even take our trash except a small can in the parking garage. I was surprised at the $100 deposit, and that you really have to pay for parking, no real option there. Overall, however, when we have to go back, I would stay there again since it was clean, the view at night was great, and the beds were so comfortable.

Worst Western Hotel Terrible experience. There are train tracks built right behind the hotel that runs til 1am and then starts running again at 5am. Blaring horn all through the night. None of the wall outlets worked and the ac was old, loud, and annoying every time it kicked on. Pillows were so clumpy and awful. My neck was killing me at the end of my stay. I asked for new pillows and not sure if they even replaced them cause they were all just as bad if so. When I told them about my experience they offered me no room adjustment or anything. Front desk was nice and cleaning crew did their job but nice doesn’t fix things. Disappointing, will never stay at a best western again.

Comfortable and Close to Everything EASY Freeway access...Convenient location right in downtown SLC, across from Temple Square, and City Creek Mall. Close to event centers , Fine Dining restaurants like " Urban Hill" and numerous food courts at the mall across the street. TRAX stop right in front of the hotel to help you get anywhere in the valley...Very Clean rooms, comfortable bed and incredibly friendly staff!!! Addtional fee for their secure parking garage and the ability to come and go was worth every penny since we did take a short drive to Park City. Room rates were affordable compared to all the other places we considered. So glad we picked this one! We WILL stay here again!!
