Relaxing weekend getaway My Husband and I have stayed here twice once in the Holly Cottage and most recently the Paulownia Cottage. Both were very clean and comfy. We loved setting on the porch drinking coffee and looking at all the birds and the mountains. The breakfast each morning is fresh and delicious served with some very tasty coffee. We plan on returning and trying another cottage or room in the house. Perfect place to stay for a relaxing trip to the mountains to get away from the city.

Good and bad The lodge itself is far better to stay in than one of the little cabins. Why? Upon entering our cabin it smelled musty and the bathroom smelled like urine. It looked clean but SMELLED like cat pee - disgusting. The shower door wouldn’t stay closed and they give you bar of soap and say it’s for hair and body IT’S NOT! Bringing your own shampoo and conditioner to this place is an absolute must! The bed was comfortable enough but done leave the fan on to try and alleviate the smell it ticks all night long! Food was good, and service was good.

Finally able to go back since Covid We have been to the Orchard Inn 2-3 times a year for many years and could hardly wait until we were vaccinated and felt we could travel again. We so missed being there over the last year and it was wonderful to get back. It is just as wonderful as ever.... maybe even more so with the new dining area, outdoor gardens and spa chalet. Absolutely love the place!

Perfect In Every Way! We've stayed at The Orchard Inn dozens of times...and we keep coming back! Accommodations are perfection, breakfasts are gourmet as is Newman's Restaurant and oh... The Spa! You deserve to treat yourself to The Orchard Inn!❤

M and VC from Asheville Our accommodations were excellent, spotlessly clean, comfortable, wonderful views. The food was superbe. We looked forward to breakfast every day as each one was delicious and beautifully presented. Wonderful views of the bird feeders and distant mountains. The Inn itself is charming with a warm and beautiful ambiance. Staff so friendly and helpful. We were there for only three days but felt so rested and restored after the visit. Great location for visiting nearby charming towns and waterfalls. Highly recommend it!
