Average hotel that could use some updating but staff was super! We were in the area for a wedding. This hotel is not one of the better HI-Express hotels that I've stayed in. CON: It feels a bit rundown. Our room was on the third floor and facing the highway. If you're a light sleeper, there is quite a bit of traffic noise from Loop 410 and the room air conditioner was quite loud as well. The room smelled musty. There was no luggage rack. The bathroom door would not stay open. We saw two roaches in the bathroom the first night. The floor in the bathroom looked dirty and it was kind of caved in a bit near the shower. PRO: The bed was super comfortable. The morning breakfast was excellent with a nice variety of items. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great if you're wanting to tour the Missions.

Horrible experience at a high rate! Over-priced for the lack of amenities and cleanliness. Complained and got no response. No hot tub (was pictured on website but was filled in with dirt and weeds). Ice machine broken on the first floor. Filthy carpets in halls and urine smell in carpet in our room. Television didn't work at all. Shower had mildew and would not drain. People at desk completely ignored our requests but supposedly called a manager to ask if they could reduce our rate(said they refused). $259/night was ridiculous for what we ended up actually getting. I always stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels and love the breakfast and I'm a Priority Club member but will never stay at this location again.

Terrible hotel Shower was dirty and mild ridden. Additionally floor tiles were coming off floor, cut my son's foot. Management didn't even bother to answer my call or make amends. Avoid, many better choices out there. Terrible hotel. Additionally what looked like blood at the floor by the elevator

Bullet Holes in Windows Seeing bullet holes in the window makes me feel unsafe. It also cheapens the hotel brand in general. I have stayed at many, many other Holiday Inn express hotels across the state of Texas. this one ranks near the bottom of the list of hotels from this brand in safety and in shower cleanliness. Apparently, the staff has known about these bullet holes for two years. They ordered a replacement window and haven’t selected someone to install the window yet. They said they didn’t want to get “ripped off” on the cost of the installation. So instead, they have not resolved the issue or gotten anyone else to fix the window. In my opinion, changing a window with bullet holes should be top priority, and not some thing you put off for two years.
