Mr. Spinner We stayed here for 5 nights. The third time we’ve stayed here this year. The.rooms are always clean and spacious, the staff is very friendly! And Manjo at the front desk is super cool and went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay. Will definitely keep coming here! Thanks again Manjo for being so helpful and understanding! __

Dreadful!!! Don't go to this deplorable hotel. Truly a nightmare. The health department needs to investigate this place. I pray I was not attacked by bed bugs. Some thing is underhanded. Dirty, noisy, mushy mattress and overall a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

Fake and scrubbed reviews Other reviews that are positive on here are obviously fake and submitted by employees. Typical dump motel on El Camino real. Dirty, and I mean dirty: I had to clean the tub myself because only half of it had been cleaned the other half had cleaner literally still sprayed on it that hadn't even been rinsed off or whatever I don't know what the deal was.... It was just gross. I showed up at the front desk at 3:20 p.m., 20 minutes past official check-in time and was told by the attendant that I may have to wait for a room because only one maid showed up that day. You have to treat your maids pretty damn bad for them not to show up on a Sunday morning. They do that to get back at you as an employer. If they were just going to quit or not show up for a day, Sunday is the day to choose if you really want to hurt the establishment that you work for. I could go on and on about the things that are wrong with the room: the heater air conditioner reeks like rats or mice when you turn it on, the microwave smells like other people's food and the interior is covered in gray burn marks (there are nicer microwaves in this town sitting on the curb, free) ditto the armchair in the room which frankly is too dirty and stained for someone even to be selling at their garage sale. The DirecTV remote control was the most gross, I think, of everything in the room. Nasty spilled food stuck to it, Brown and gray globs stuck on it, just seriously so incredibly gross. Cheapest DirecTV package available with minimum channels available mostly channels that are selling stuff like QVC and home shopping Network or strange religious programming & foreign language channels. Bathroom fan so loud, I've heard quieter lawn mowers. Small parking lot. Neglected rundown property.

Good value & great location. My wife had an operation at Sequoia Hospital the required an overnight stay. I chose Good Living Inn because it was close and inexpensive. It took about 5 minutes to get to the hospital, so excellent for that purpose. It is 2 minutes walk to a Trader Joe, and there are at least a dozen restaurants within 10 minutes walk, including several Mexican and a Japanese. The room was very clean and comfortable. Although it is on El Camino Real, the room was very quiet and the air conditioner worked well. The problems were minor but removed a star. The phone didn't work so couldn't call the office to get help for the problems, had to walk down to it. There was a new coffee maker but no coffee cups or mugs (just little plastic glasses that wouldn't work with a hot drink). The TV is fed by satellite but there was no directions to tell one how to use it. It took forever to figure out how to watch regular TV, e.g., KQED. The remote's battery ran down and I had to walk down to the office. To their credit, the young man came up to show me how to operate the TV.

Maintenance needed I booked a month ahead. The chain website was non-functional, so I called the property and was surprised to be given a MUCH lower rate than shown on the website or on Trip Advisor, Booking.com, etc. My first impression of the room was "this is nice" (for the price). But we found serious maintenance issues in the barely functional shower and the sink faucet that wouldn't turn all the way off. Everything else was fine for a one-night stay.
