Do not go here. Bad bad bad. Rude staff. Consierge was short. Dirty windows. Water outage (probably scheduled) but was never told. Sulfur (eggs) smell from bathroom sink. Qualified for in house food discounts on my booking but was never told that during check in.

Only stay if you are going to the Padres game, otherwise look elsewhere I paid extra for a bay view room, but what they give you is a bay side view where you can’t see the bay at all unless you are on a floor higher than I was (9th). Also, be warned that the place is dog friendly, we were awakened at 4am by a neighbors dog. Only reason I gave it two stars is that it is attached to the ballpark by a sky bridge for convenience. Also, valet parking is the only parking option.

Great Omni Experience, Ideal Location, F&B over the top expensive so take a walk Outstanding Omni hotel in the heart of the Gaslamp experience and connected to Padre stadium. Super convenient to walk to most places. Staff, especially front desk, is super kind, friendly and helpful. Only downside is that the cafe and restaurant service is outrageously expensive, e.g., $5 for a 50 cent donut and then add in coffee plus tip (for counter service - grrrr), you are at $15 for a small donut and flavored water. Recommend taking a few minute walk for F&B.

Not sure about the Fine Hotels Designation Location was great for attending a conference at the convention center. It was a short five minute walk and there's a Starbuck attached to the Hard Rock hotel on the way so that was was awesome! Rooms were well appointed. Not five star status but for sure comfortable and I really appreciated the amount of outlets. I was able to plug in anywhere I needed to without issue. I must say that the water pressue was lacking and the plumbing was just loud in general. I could hear every time someone took a shower or flushed the toilet...it was fine by day 2, but something to note. Value and Service go hand in hand for me- this was a work trip, but I booked with my Amex platinum card and this hotel fell under the Fine Hotels Collection. That designation, in my opinion, means that service and quality should be superior to hotels that dont share that status and Omni didn't hit it. Other than the young lady who checked me in on Sunday, staff were just not friendly or welcoming. At check out. I almost felt like I was bothering the clerk by asking for a printed receipt and the valet actually asked me if I needed help with my bags....mind you I was carrying a heavy backpack, rolling suitcase, cosmetic bag and two shopping bags; initiative would've been appropriate. All in the service is the reason I likely wouldn't return. The location was perfect, room was nice/decent and the one meal I had was pretty tasty.
