PB Surf Beachside Inn

Wonderful experiences at the PB Surf Beachside Inn, San Diego, California. My name is Jim Peckarsky. I have stayed at the PB Surf Beachside Inn many times. I have to say that the experience is wonderful each time. Manager Jim Silver is great and very accommodating. Alpha, Vanessa and FiFi are great to work with. I always recommend the hotel to others. It feels like a home away from home for me. I'll be seeing you again at the end of this month. Thanks for everything. Jim.

We have been here awhile and have enjoyed every minute. The management and maid service is excellent. The location is perfectly located one block from the beach. The rooms are very very lovely. The tv service is very very perfect and the beds are extremely comfortable. The shower is also perfect and the location once again cannot be better!

This place sucks I dunno what brainlets or bots are giving this place good reviews, but for the love of god don’t believe them. There was nowhere to park. We started a room that didn’t even have air conditioning. They did accommodate us by giving us another room. And to be fair this one did have that, but something in the bathroom was leaking and one of the lights didn’t have a shader on it. Don’t come here.

Awesome quick getaway We had a wonderful time staying at PB Surf! Room is super clean, prime location, check-in was quick and efficient, staff are friendly and helpful, and overall felt safe staying. Vanessa is fantastic! We requested a late checkout which she kindly accommodated and held our luggage for us while we explore the area. We were also able to do our laundry on their sister property. I will definitely come back!

Worst Hotel in San Diego The woman at the front desk is the most incompetent hospitality professional I’ve ever come across. There was 2 people ahead of us in line to checkin and it took 45 minutes for her to complete their transactions. We had originally planned to stay here for 3 days, but the first day was such a disappointment we decided to check out after 1 night. Make sure to get a receipt when you check out! When we gave the same front desk woman our room number to check out she said we were “all set” and “good to go”. But when we checked our bank statement; she had charged us for 3 days rather than 1. When we called to figure out what happened she said we had “never checked out” and that there “must have been a miscommunication”. I don’t know know if it’s a scam or just complete incompetence, but I would avoid this hotel like the plague! There are 10 hotels within a block of this place that I’m sure you will have a better experience with.
