Coventry Motor Inn

Great location and comfortable stay I have to say this was the most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept in - it was like sleeping on a cloud. A great location and within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf and Fort Mason. Very friendly and helpful staff and whilst our room faced Lombard Street, the traffic noise was minimal. If we are ever lucky enough again to visit San Francisco, will definitely stay at the Coventry Motor Inn.

Great location, great inn! This was my fourth time in San Fco! This is a city with so much character! Now as far as this hotel goes, it’s the best one I have stayed in so far! The location is terrific whether you want to walk or take public transportation. The rooms are just beautiful (renovated), the hallways stunning and always a good sense of security. Parking for one car is included! My room had fridge! Older photos (from about 2023 and back) on TripAdvisor don’t do it justice We loved it!

This Motor Inn can go toe to toe with the Big Chains... Great find in the Marina District. While not centrally located like Union Square Hotels, Public Transportation in San Francisco is excellent and only a few blocks from this property. We travel a lot. We usually stay in 4 Star hotels, Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott etc. The room we had matches at least and perhaps surpasses some of these chain hotels. LOTS of room. huge comfortable bed. Glassware in the room instead of paper or plastic (makes that in -room coffee taste better!). Safe. Mini Fridge. Ammenities a plenty. Even the decorations with a San Francisco theme were quite nice. The lobby is tiny but clean, functional and comfortable. Excellent modern bathroom in our room. On site parking. We live in the SF Bay Area but will surely keep this Motor Inn in mind for our next visit without a doubt!

Great place to stay Clean as a pin! Rooms appear to have just been remodeled. Tastefully decorated. The bathroom was well appointed with good shower heads. The beds were comfortable and the linens nice. Secure and safe parking. Location was good. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hotel; great location! It's been several years since I've stayed at the Coventry Inn, and our recent experience there was fantastic! The rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors have been remodeled very nicely. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable, a huge bonus. I mentioned that my husband was having (brain) surgery at UCSF the day after we arrived, and the Manager (David) rushed out of the office to help us unload our luggage onto the cart and offered to help us up to the room. The rest of David's team were super helpful and friendly during the 2-night stay (I stayed on a second night). The location is excellent, with easy access to multiple Muni public bus lines; & parking is included, which is unheard of in San Francisco these days. We will definitely be staying there on future overnight visits to SF!
