Comfortable Stay Our nicely decorated 1 bedroom suite had all the comforts of home, except a full length mirror. Bed was great. Suite was clean, quiet and the secured parking gave peace of mind. Bathroom okay, but needs updating especially bathtub/shower fixtures. Area is a great upscale neighborhood with nice restaurants and shops. We have stayed here off and on for many years and the Cow Hollow has consistently remained good deal.

Ideal location for Marina district. Ideally located between Fisherman's Wharf and Golden Gate Bridge, also easy links for local transport to other areas of SF. (Use Muni or Clipper passes / tickets) Just around the corner is Chestnut street with vibrant restaurants and bars. The staff are super helpful and friendly and the whole hotel is clean. Only real issue is that the hotel is now a little dated but if you read reviews before you travel as we do you will not be disappointed. Also has adequate parking areas for you road trip stay.

Good quality, quiet room As we were concerned that the standard rooms, which face Lombard Street, may be noisy, we paid for an upgrade to a deluxe room at the back. It was a big room, well furnished and well decorated and was very quiet. The hotel is very well situated for main attractions with plenty of local bus services. Free parking on site is a real bonus. The only disappointment is that it doesn't do breakfast. We purchased breakfast at Mel's Diner and Home Plate, both of which offer a 10% discount when you show your room key.

Good hotel with convenient and safe parking Very good motor hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were excellent and the location was great. Plenty of restaurants and shops around. The best thing was the secure car parking. Convenient and safe. The lift security was impressive too.

Won't Do It Again I will start positive. Location is perfect in the Marina neighborhood, great restaurants and convenient walking everywhere. Our bed was comfortable. Check-in was super chaotic and slow. Only one gentleman working at the front desk so there's no use complaining because the ONE guy was doing the best he can. We got a suite and I felt like I stepped back to 1975. I seriously was looking for the rotary phone, TV Guide and my grand parents. WIFI was sooooo slow it felt like a dial up modem, furnishings were horribly dated and needed a cleaning from ceiling to floor. Room smelled like old and stale, we opened the windows to air it out as best as we could. Cobwebs in the corner, bathroom fan filter covered in dust, towels were yellow and old. We will not be staying here next time in San Fran.
