We love the Inn and can't wait to come back! This place is so charming! It is absolutely infused with the feeling of old San Francisco, not only because it's a historic home but also due to the photos on the walls and the tons of books about San Francisco and local history out in the parlor to enjoy. The deep, wooden hot tub out back was heavenly, I was in there every day. It's quite hot (which I love) and the water came all the way up to my chin. The rooftop deck has amazing views day and night. The parlor was a great place to spend time, I just read and drank coffee and tea in there, but other people worked, played games, and just generally hung out. There are plenty of stairs. Stairs to get to the front door, then more to get to your room. If you aren't ok with stairs, this won't be a great place for you. Parking was available on the street for free but they advised to only leave my car out there if absolutely everything was out of the car. I know that San Francisco has a lot of vehicle break ins and saw the evidence of that as I walked around, so I was glad that I could pay for secure parking in their garage across the street. Also, i didn't want to carry our ice chest up all those stairs. It was worth it for the security, but also for being able to come and go at any hour from the garage (they give you your own clicker) and not have to drive around looking for a free street spot. They upgraded our room, for which we are extremely grateful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. The food in the morning is plentiful, more than enough for a meal, but there's so much amazing breakfast food in the area we ended up going out for breakfast burritos one morning and to the famous Tartine Bakery the other morning. The place is quirky and unconventional, that's what we loved about it and why we will go back.

Great Misson District Inn. We were upgraded free of charge to the first floor cottage, 2 bedroom and the beds were very comfy. Marty and staff were as normal welcoming and friendly. Location in The Mission District is perfect for small music venues, The Chapel and Amandos. Many restaurants and bars in walking distance without the big hills in the financial/Union Sq/Tenderloin area.

The In SF is a GEM! What an incredible place The Inn San Francisco is! It's an old Victorian Home which is gorgeous outside, and when you go inside it's absolutely stunning! Clean, comfortable, welcoming - somewhere you just want to be! The hosts are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was unusually delicious - lots of fresh fruit, pastries, quiche, cheese, meat, eggs, and all the coffee & tea you desire. There is an amazing view from the rooftop, and in back a delightful garden with 2 seating areas and the perfect hot tub. Perhaps best of all, it is located right near the main streets of the Mission District that is full of culture, interesting stores, and lots of good food. Highly recommended!

change carpet the customer service is 10/10 but the rooms needs an upgrade especially the CARPET need to be replaced the smell of the carpet I could not sleep and the other issue was I don't get pimples unless the pillowcase is dirty I don't think they are washing the floral ones and the floral comforter because I got a pimple the first night and after I requested for it to be changed then I was fine. staff is amazing change just carpet and clean better.

A gem!! Beautiful old Victorian, excellent hospitality, amazing breakfast, flexible hosts! I will certainly return. The location is quite good and within walking distance of cafes, shops, and interesting sites like the Balmy St murals. I was traveling solo and felt comfortable all day. Easy Uber pick up and drop off too.
