Fabulous, Beyond my Expectations! We’ve been coming to Casa Dorada for over 10 years. We love the location as it is on the best swimmable beach in Cabo, walking distance to the marina and downtown. As always, the staff here is amazing. Anahi the reception manager went over and beyond helping me coordinate the 26 guest that I brought with me on this trip as I was celebrating my 60th birthday. She had my room decorated with gorgeous ballon arrangements and delicious desserts. Such a sweetheart! Cesar and Brandon, the bellman, are so kind, they are always eager to help you in any way. And as always, Daniel, Antonio, and the entire beach staff are fabulous! They did an incredible job taking care of our every need on the beach. On this trip I did use the services of the event coordinators, Sandra and Katherine, as I wanted to have a dinner dance party on my actual birthday. They were incredible! They helped me plans an unforgettable birthday party at 12 Tribes Terrace. They made the entire planning process feel effortless. They gave great input and were very accommodating. Every detail was handled with such care. The table settings were so elegant, the floral centerpieces were stunning, the cake looked exactly like the picture I had sent them as a sample, the food was delicious and the DJ kept us dancing all night. Sandra and Katherine exceeded all my expectation! The party was fabulous. I can’t wait to plan another celebration with them!

Day Pass Review Traveled to Cabo with my family on a cruise. Did extensive extensive research on different resorts that offer day pass and ultimately decided to come here. Due to the fact that on the description, the cabanas stated that you got access to the resort and the pool area. We were there for hours upon hours going back-and-forth between both areas. At no point in the pool area was there ever more than 15 people. Towards the end of our time, our waiter informed us that the resort area was not included, and we were no longer allowed to return. Since leaving there a couple days ago on August 24, the resort has updated its website twice with the most recent one, putting an Asterix stating that the resort area is not included in the cabana rentals. Had I been able to find my original screenshots of my research? I would have disputed my transactions with my credit card company for false advertisement. Extremely disappointed. Also, the cabana areas are so close to the public area of the beach that you are hassled literally all day long nonstop by the merchants at no point where we even able to relax in our cabana. Which was one of the main reasons we moved ourselves back to the pool area the food was great. Our waiter was great. The drinks were pretty good, but I feel like I was lied to and cheated seeing the resort modify their website after we were there.

Amazing trip! We just returned from a 8-night stay and had a fabulous time! Miriam and Anahi helped us get a nice deal on a beautiful room with sea view. We relaxed at the pool every day and explored Cabo in the evenings. Thanks for a great trip!

Clean resort but not my favorite Casa Dorada is very clean and the rooms are spacious with full kitchens, fans, and great air conditioning. The bed was okay, but the pillows were very uncomfortable and I didn’t sleep well. The pool bar closes at 6 pm, which felt too early. Check-in was disappointing even though I was only an hour early, the front desk staff made me feel like an inconvenience and didn’t share any info about amenities. Biggest surprise was being charged for in-room coffee (50 pesos plus 90 pesos for bottled water). Most hotels include this. Overall, the resort itself is nice, but between the early pool bar closure, unfriendly front desk, and extra charges, I probably wouldn’t stay here again with so many other options in Cabo.

Just a relaxing day at the pool, day pass review. We booked a day pass at Casa Dorada while we were in Cabo for a couple days (a friend of mine stays there frequently). We were not disappointed. We were there this summer, on July 12, 2025, to be exact. We were a party of 8, so we booked three separate day passes for each little family. We stayed poolside all day and enjoyed relaxing there. The vibe is perfect. Every single one of the staff…from checking in, to the pool service, to our departure were very nice and welcoming. The staff is professional and friendly. A special thank you to our server at the pool that day. Joel, was our server. He told us to call him Joe. He was very friendly, fast, and efficient. Anytime we needed another round of drinks or some water, he was ready to help. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for a long time, and I’m rarely impressed with any staff these days, but he was fantastic. He was working hard and still smiling. He always made us feel welcome. Thank you so much for an awesome experience. Joel we are very grateful that you were our server.
