At Wind Chimes Boutique Hotel

So much potential but falls way short Not good: Not clean, no daily housekeeping. Must take your dirty towels down to exchange for clean towels. Ran out of hand towels several days, floor was filthy, sink was plugged, something smeared on wall in bathroom. Some staff helpful, others rude, no parking. Some kids were loitering outside our room for most of day and night, must have wondered in from the street or parents left them. They were drinking and loitering in the outside areas of the hotel. Good: small pool was nice, 1 block from beach and many different wonderful restaurants. We did have a small fridge and fairly nice pillows! _ We bought paper towels, cleaning supplies and towels and enjoyed our stay as much as we could. Would not return. It has so many possibilities, very cute style but definitely needs better staff/services.

Charming Boutique in perfect location ! The Hotel was just a block away from the beach which was super convenient. We really enjoyed the private charm. Lots of hangout areas to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. The team was very friendly and the hotel was clean. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants. I definitely would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Only make a reservation at this hotel, if you wish to have your belongings stolen and the hotel staff mock you Wish I could give minus stars! A friend and I were staying at the hotel during the period 03/25-03/29 2024. One night we returned to the hotel around 01.30am and could not open the door to our room, as it had been locked from the inside. The person at the front desk said that he had let a man into the room, as he had claimed to have a key that did not work, although the room was only reserved my friend and I - two women. We did not know the man that had been let into our room. Front desk person assisted us in getting the man out of our room, which took a long time. He finally left, but had stolen some of our items from our room, which we realized the next morning (03/28). The front desk staff at our hotel was not helpful at all, blaming us for the loss of our items despite their obvious error in allowing a stranger access to our room in the first place without any form of background check. We had to go over to the hotel where the man was actually staying - a sister hotel of our hotel - ourselves and convince the staff there (who was equally unhelpful) to help us find our items. We only managed to retrieve some of the items that had been stolen from our room. Absolute disaster!

Fun little excursion Windchimes was a cute little hidden gem a short walk from the beach (~3 min walk). The street over had lots of cute restaurants and cafes. Overall, great location. Some downfalls were , lots of construction, air conditioner sounded like dripping water noises, and our room had no windows. Very nice staff, many outdoor sitting areas, small pool. We also had access to the sister hotel, which had a slightly bigger pool that was heated (and felt like a hot tub!) Free access to beach towels and filtered water with cone cups. We enjoyed scootering around Puerto Rico, highly recommended downloading the bird app to scooter for yourself . Great spring break with my girls!

Liked it. Good value Very nice and accommodating staff. Convenient to restaurants and beach. Quick ride from/to airport. Small but nice pool. Lack of towels is an issue. Lot of weed being smoked around there, but not intrusive. We felt safe on site and in the neighborhood
