Expected more from a Homewood Suites When I checked in, I was not recognized as a Hilton Honors member. I asked to be put on the first floor and she was able to put me on the second floor. I asked for, and was given, two waters. The room did not feel clean. I wonder if it was because I asked for a different floor. Found small ants and a spider in the bathroom. The kitchen area was extremely small and the lighting was very poor. There were spotlights in the kitchen and one inadequate lamp in the living room. Breakfast was okay - scrambled eggs, potato croquettes and sliced sausage. I had a problem with the computer not working in the business area. I wanted to print directions from one Homewood Suites to another Homewood Suites. The woman at the desk was unable to help me. I also had a problem with the WIFI, and again, I think this was because I requested a different room. Would not stay here again.

Nice stay right by Richmond airport Got 2 rooms using Hilton points for my family, we both enjoyed our rooms. Very comfortable and clean and the free breakfast was good too. Easy parking situation and you can see the planes coming and going on the runway from the windows! (at least in our room you could). A bonus is Patron Mexican Restaurant, which is literally across the parking lot from the hotel.

Rain and Lauren made the BEST pastries!!!!! Renovations are going on. Aside from construction dirt I’m the elevator we were affected by it. We were in a room that was renovated. Unfortunately, the deadbolt did not work. I immediately reported it and I will give you the staff credit. They immediately were going to send somebody up to fix it. However, I had just arrived and I was exhausted so I told him just leave it the way it is for now. We reminded them when we checked out. The absolute best thing for this location, or the two young ladies on breakfast, one of the days we were there. The first day breakfast was just mediocre. However, the second day it had amazing pastries, and everything in the Buffay area was set up very freshly. The pastries are incredible. They were too young ladies working ask for their names when was Rain and one was Lauren. They were incredible. They need to be hired as pastry chef somewhere.!!!!!

This place is worse than a nightmare. Stay away! I truly wish I had the right words to write how absolutely disgusted I am with this place. It is horrible! We made reservations for a King Suite. They gave us an accessible suite. When I showed the manager my confirmation, he refused to acknowledge that I was correct and that he gave us the wrong room. He claims he is sold out and could only give me another handicapped room on the second floor. He claims that my room is so shabby because they are remodeling. What about the stains on the ceiling? What about the gross bedspread? What about the furniture from the ‘60’s? What about the frayed rug? How can we even hang clothing in the closet when our clothes touch the floor? Where are the hangers? The only reason we came here is to see our grandchildren swim in a big event or we would go to a different hotel.

Outdated Room had a bad odor room had a terrible smell old outdated i used points so i imagine i got the leftovers but i wouldn’t be complaining if it wasn’t for the terrible smell ac units outdated noisy etc not the standar homewood suites i have stared at before wasn’t feeling well so didn’t bother to complain
