easy night for cedar point booked the room because it was close to cedar point and i have stayed in the past. stayed in a handicapable room which was nice spacious clean as well only draw back is we were right down the hall from the lobby and there were windows near the door and the hall way light was shining through all night and everytime someone near us closed there door ours rattled too...still slept good tho the hotel in itself could use some updating on the rooms certain parts of the ceiling were cracking off in our room but yet it was only for a night after a long day at cedar point. friendly staff didnt have the donut and coffee but id still come back again.

Cedar point visit We stayed at the Magnuson East hotel in Sandusky Ohio and it was a very pleasant and positive visit. The front desk was cheerful and helpful and housekeeping was outstanding.the thing lacking was a breakfast as they had coffee with donuts. Otherwise, a clean room very quiet with no issues.

Dont expect much Was told i had pool side room when i made reservations, however upon check in was told i didnt. Showed paperwork, but it didnt matter. All rooms were taken. Door to room would not close proper, or lock. You had to slam it hard. Called for maintance, they never showed up. Toilet seat was broken, carpet in hall way was dirty, rooms were o.k. clean, but could be cleaner. Continental breakfast consisted of semi frozen mini donuts, coffee, (no decaf) and the smallest styform cups you have ever seen. Very dirty ! When i told front desk about the door at check out, she said yes, we know there was a problem..but dont know how to fix it. I said dont you thonk you should let the person renting the room know about door. She just looked at me. We will never stay here again

Stayed 1 night Staff was very friendly and helpful as we came in very late. Also there was a thoughtful message written by the cleaning staff inside. The room itself was nothing to write home about. It had a distinct odor and there were spiders inside. The motel itself seemed in need of an update. But location couldn’t be beat and the price was right. Ok if you don’t want to spend any time there and just need a place to crash for the bare minimum of time.

Nice overnight stay, but don’t go for the breakfast Spent two nights at this motel, which was comfortable, and located close to Cedar Point. The staff was pleasant, the rooms clean, but the ( free) breakfast consisted of coffee and a small powdered donut. That said, the room charge of $74 was still worth the time.
