Good value for the money. We wanted to stay close to the center and it was. We walked everywhere from here. The place was clean and staff was courteous. I liked that the room had a safe deposit. It did not have fridge, but I did not expect it for the price. Our expedia reservation showed city view when I was. booking. There was no city view from our room. This would have made no difference when I booked it, but it was interesting that it was listed. Will definitely stay at this place again when we visit next time.

LICE and disrespect I stayed here last weekend to help my girlfriend move out of her college dorm. We stayed here because of its price and location, but we ended paying more. We discovered the next day that we got LICE from the room. You would assume that's as bad as it gets, but nope. The real treat was the manager Gabe. His customer service and professionalism was awful, one of the worst customer interactions I have ever had. When I informed him and asked for a refund he hung up on me. Even worse he gave us some made up number to a manager that had a number that was no longer in service. I strongly urge anyone considering this hotel to avoid it and Gabe!

room was entered by staff and left ajar and unlocked I checked in for two nights during the corona virus pandemic. I left after my second night to get food and water and came back to my room door being left open dead bolted to stay open and the curtains to the back open area left drawn open for anyone to see into my room. I talked to the front desk. The front desk claimed no one had been in there until she finally called housekeeping. After much talk In another language, mind you I speak English as I’m American, she explained contractors came into the room to fix an apparent broken sliding door that I was completely unaware of and had not complained about it. It’s unacceptable for strangers to enter your room with all of your belongings and supplies during a pandemic when I’ve paid to have this safety and privacy.

Garbage rooms, paper walls, horrible beds, good location Stayed here for a night traveling down the coast. Way overpriced for what you get. The room barely kept any sound out and the bed smelled old and musty. Bathroom was pretty dirty and also very tiny. Gf was coughing all night from the dust, seemed like they did the bare minimum of cleaning it. Homeless people on the street right outside made lots of noise and also could hear every step of kids running on the concrete walkways outside. Traveler beware!

totally inflexible management I tried to book a room at this hotel after family member lost their wallet while in Santa Barbara. Member had a credit card but no photo id since the wallet was lost. He had a picture of his passport - obviously with his photo and a picture of his global entry card. He also had a copy of the police report he filed regarding the loss of his wallet. The management at this hotel would not allow booking a room for him. He went to a MUCH higher end hotel who accepted all documents he had and allowed booking a room. Terrible customer service. Probably best not to have stayed there if this is an indication of their customer service. I guess having Global Entry and Passport pictures isn't adequate documentation of who you are? Give me a break!!!!!
