Did not live up to price or reputation We were on a long-planned girls massage weekend that included air travel. For the price and reputation, the massages were disappointing; we were over- charged; the service was unacceptable (2 of us are seniors). I made several attempts to communicate with management to no avail. I do not recommend and won't be returning.

Awful…power out…no refund Heat didn’t work, lost power in the room and front desk would not offer a refund…made us wait while calling different parties. Avoid this overpriced hoax. Complete crap.

Past its prime We arrived Friday, February 13 to check in before our scheduled massages. The first issue is that I have mobility issues, and the parking situation for handicapped spots are few and far between. Upon finally unloading, we realized there are no elevators, and we were on the second floor. So we lugged our stuff up to our room. Our very dingy, dusty, seen better days room. Disappointing. The spa is small and dated, but the massage was fantastic and the staff was warm and friendly. Upon our arrival in our room, the TV was not working. sowe called the front desk and they sent a tech over who was in our room for 45 minutes and could not fix the issue. He said he would notify the front desk and they would call me and let me know which room they would move us to. These are HIS words. So , we waited for an hour, no phone call. By then it was time for our massages which were great. Uopn arriving back at our room, there was no message from the front desk so I called them. They proceeded to tall me that they did not hav another room for us, and they would waive the $20 parking fee. i told het that was entirely unacceptable. She then offered $40m off the resort fee or some nonsense . Utterly unacceptable. After unpacking, I realized there was no overhead lighting at all. There were five lamps but even with all of them lit, the room was dark. There was not an outlet near the bed that a plug would stay in, so I had to plug my phone in on the far side of the bed where there was no table. The bathroom was tiny, and there was a metal rack holding the toiletries in the shower that I cut my elbow on while washing my hair. There was debris and dust behind the keg shaped side table that was between the beds. The lamps were dusty. The beds were made in such a way that is was impossible to sleep in them without the bottom sheet completely coming untucked and exposing the mattress pad. Just overall giving the impression of a 90's Ramada off the freeway in a small town. I expected better. Granted it is a beautiful property in some respects, but it badly need some care and cleaning.

room not ready on time Our room wasn't ready at 4 pm for checkin. We were patient and let them know we would be nearby, and by the time it was ready at 5 pm they did not even bother to call and tell us it was ready. Other people seemed to be waiting too, including a family. The next day our pool key didn't work, and no one was around to let us in (it was a gloomy day) so we're walking around the property in our robes. These are basic things that should work when you're staying in this kind of place.
