I come here every year, and it's wonderful every time. Chaminade is a magical place, a little slice of heaven that feels a world away from the neighboring SFBA. The staff, the food, and the amenities are all top-notch.

50 /50 rooms are out dated and have a weird smell. resort could use a big update. I literally felt dirty the moment I touched the carpet or floors. the views from the restaurant is amazing. we had a balcony and it was nice to see the woods in the morning.

Great views, mid experience, spa was okay I fell in love with this region, definitely a great place to visit. I love the main building and atmosphere (although the food is good, not great at The View). We chose to enjoy 3 meals there, the view at sunset is stunning, but the food and service were alright. The room was fine, not that special. We also stayed right by the building entry and the door didn’t have a pump so a heavy metal door slammed extremely loudly every time people went in or out. I asked maintenance to fix it twice but at check out they said they needed a part for it, so we just jolted in bed exhausted (after our wedding) every time someone let it slam over and over. The spa is pretty average. I was annoyed there is no where to hang a robe for the sauna and steam room. My massage was not great and of course it’s a premium price and gratuity added automatically and they messed up scheduling my husband’s appointment despite me doing it on the form. We stayed there as a mini moon after getting married and it was kind of a let down given that we paid a premium, approximately $500 a night.

A great resort in the middle of trees The rooms were tired and need an upgrade. Didn’t like the bathroom at all. It was dark without proper lighting and an old shower. The restaurant and the main area was beautiful
