Great time at the Homewood Suites in Santa Fe This place is outstanding. The rooms are spectacular with a separate bedroom, small living room, kitchen and of course bathroom with a separate sink area. The people working there are exceptional especially the breakfast ladies. Speaking of breakfast it was phenomenal, not your typical powdered eggs. Every day you could make a different breakfast burrito and everything seemed that it was made fresh. Coffee, juices, ready made oatmeal (my favorite). We weren't going to eat out Wednesday night because we'd had a big meal in Taos that day at Michael's but still a little hungry. Was very happy to see they had a Manager's reception with french onion soup, breadsticks, snacks and salad fixings. Everything kept in tip top shape at the hotel. The mattresses and linens were so comfortable, got a good night's slept every night. The one "drawback" folks might have is it was out of the way from downtown Santa Fe, about 12 miles. This wasn't a drawback for us because we also wanted to see the surrounding area and it wasn't in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It was right next door to one of the nicer casinos at Buffalo Thunder which we enjoyed when we weren't out exploring. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Older but nice room. Shower was tiny This is an old hotel and that shows in the shower the most. It's tiny wide, barely enough room to turn around in. No way my wife and I would fit in this shower. The rest of our room was good, we liked the bad and pillows so slept well. Online staff was nice and helpful with having to move up our check out date! Really appreciated that! Front desk staff was quite short with answering basic questions...when asked about local restaurants, she quickly said they're all in the casino next door. That wasn't what I asked, sorry to have bothered her!

Beautiful Suite, Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer The suite we booked was perfect for the two couples traveling together! We each had our own spacious bedroom and large bathroom, and there was a nice sized living room with a couch and chairs between. The kitchen was clean and stocked with all the necessities, including a full size refrigerator/freezer. Our suite had a view of the courtyard and the pool. The hotel offered a free full breakfast buffet, and had a nice dining/common area to eat and relax. There was complimentary bottled water, and a dispenser with fruit infused cold water as well as a 24-hour coffee bar. Highly recommend this property!!

Very nice property Very nice stay at this hotel. Much farther away from Santa Fe than I realized, but that’s on me. It took us about twenty minutes to get into Santa Fe each day. We came to like being out of town a bit- it was much quieter and felt much safer. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room cool, clean and quiet, Wi-Fi strong and breakfast good. We loved having the extra space and two bathrooms in our suite. There was even an evening managers reception that offered actual food like burgers and chicken! It was good and much appreciated. Would highly recommend this Homewood Suites!

Very quiet hotel with comfy rooms Great quiet hotel. Very comfortable room. large room with comfy bed. Far away from interstate that heard no traffic at all. Close to Opera if youre going to that. It is 12 miles north of downtown square. Casino adjacent with few eating choices.
