Quaint and peaceful. The Santa Paula Inn was a pleasant little discovery. While it lacks a swimming pool, it is a great place to stay if you like early 20th century architecture. Despite its age, however, the Inn has modern, sanitary upgrades like smooth, wood-look tile floors and nice showers. The owner was also friendly and professional, and the Inn is within walking distance of Main Street and the excellent Rabelais restaurant. Well-priced at around $120 a night.

We loved this little gem! We stayed Thanksgiving night and really just needed a bed to lay our head, so we were pleasantly surprised with the room, grounds, and hotel in general. We booked the smallest room, but it was pleasant and clean. Came equipped with a fridge, microwave, tv, and all the other basics. The only thing it lacked was a coffee maker on the room. The bed was firm (which I like). The hotel and grounds are very well-kept, and the courtyard is very nice, with beautiful roses to enjoy. Parking is in a secure area. It’s right around the corner from great restaurants. The owner was extremely attentive to our needs as well. If you stay here, you will be happy. Enjoy!

A delightful step back in time town! We left the 'hot' central Ca valley to enjoy a cool evening downtown for dinner the end of June/early July. A historic restored restaurant with many menu choices, some drinks, and excellent service was relaxing. Many fresh desserts are available. When an item we had ordered was not available we were offered free dessert choices! A breakfast was also just steps from the SP Inn at a nearby restaurant. Nice outdoor seating with gentle breezes was just what we needed! Our room had comfortable Q beds, fridge and MW which I needed, and quiet! Room and bath were spacious. Back patio for really quiet comfort. I did miss coffee not available and hope breakfast re-starts on patio soon!

Excellent Service! I needed to find accommodations in Santa Paula at the last minute yesterday. After seeing that the inn was already fully booked online, I decided to call the inn directly. I spoke with Atul, the manager, who found a room that met my needs. I was very impressed with Atul's extraordinary service at check-in and check-out, plus he found a precious piece of jewelry that I accidentally dropped and reported missing. I would definitely stay there again!

Great Place to Stay Great location to shops and restaurants. Quiet and quaint little inn with only a few rooms. Would recommend if you are looking for a decent and inexpensive room for the weekend. The manager was so nice and helpful. The only negative is there was no closet in the room. We stayed 4 days and wished we could have hung more of our clothes. Also the beds were very comfortable but they were tweaky. Again I recommend this hotel.
