Roach Motel Roaches climbed on our food in broad day light as we tried to prepare to eat. Staff were rude and said they never heard of bugs in a room. Dirty tissues crammed down between the head board and mattress. Worst experience I’ve ever had in my 63 years of stays.

Stay elsewhere Stayed here in early January 2024. This place was under construction. Leaky sink in our room. Unfinished plastering around pipes in bathroom. No soap to wash our hands with had to go to front desk to have them find some for us. Furniture in room was old along with appliances. Eating area for breakfast had old best up tables. Worst place I have ever stayed at. Will not be back.

Stay away for now Stay away! Very disappointed in this hotel! It is currently (still) under renovations yet nothing was being done while I was there. The place is torn apart in many ways! Fitness center closed, pool closed, patio closed, grill area no grills just some left by guests. Laundry machines are old and not reliable! Rooms are outdated and appliances all need replaced. Basically one of the worse IHG places I have seen or been at! Hotel staff seems to lack some fundamental hotel knowledge. Was transferred to 4 different rooms due to things not working, then was locked out of room multiple times until they finally listened and replaced the dying door battery!

Don't stay here! We stayed here in late September 2023 but will start this review with our stay last year. We stayed here last year in Sept 2022 on our way to Asheville. The hotel was under renovation, which was disappointing, especially since the website did not mention it nor did the rate reflect it. Thinking that it had been a year since we were there and that surely the renovation would be complete and everything would be fresh and new, we booked there again this year for our trip to Asheville. Obviously our bad for assuming. Sadly, hardly anything had been done. The hotel is not clean, we had to try three different rooms to find a working refrigerator, the room was dusty and old. The rate quoted on the IHG site was not the rate on my bill, it was higher. I am an IHG Elite member but was charged $6 for 2 bottles of water. Evidently we have to speak to a manager to resolve anything and the manager is only there weekdays. So our advice...don't stay here. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. IHG should be ashamed of having this as one of their properties. We were so disappointed we almost canceled our reservation at an IHG property in Asheville!

Horrible hotel Phones did not work. Internet did not work. No ice machine. Had to take breakfast sandwich to room to microwave. Room coffee pot dirty. Only one coffee cup in the room. Worse hotel I have ever stayed in.
