Experience a bit of southern charm in historic Savannah. We decided to re-immerse ourselves in the Kimpton experience with a quick fling to the Brice located in Savannah, GA. The location was superb being situated across the street from the Riverside attractions and a short walk from the central market. We found the property “compact but with plenty of leg room” consisting of a series of interconnected porticos and courtyards which did well to capture the the spirit of the South. We also learned of its haunted history from one of our tours which added a level of quaint novelty to the stay. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the room upgrade afforded to us by our affiliation status. We enjoyed taking advantage of the pool and outdoor seating in between our exploration of the city. Front desk service from Markiesha was superb and much appreciated. We also enjoyed a hearty if not extraordinary dinner at the onsite Pacci restaurant. The meal was made memorable by our waiter Cyrus whose efforts to pair wines and desserts went above and beyond. He delivered not only expertise but a level of service that made the experience personal and fun. Kudos! There is room for improvement in what I would describe as fit and finish. We had a non functional, leaky refrigerator and an inoperable charging station in our our room which would have been an issue if we had engaged a longer stay. Most disappointing was the state of the fitness room which consisted of dated equipment most of which was out of service. It simply was not to Kimpton standards. That said, we will definitely return to The Brice on our next trip to Savannah. There’s no place like home but the hospitality and vibe at this property make it a solid second.

Family Reunion The Kimpton Brice provided a wonderful place to have a family reunion. The staff was fantastic and worked to make sure that our event was coordinated and successful. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The in-house restaurant was convenient and accommodating to our spontaneous gathering as well.

Have them print out an invoice before you leave. This hotel has a decent location in Savannah, as we were about a 10 minute walk to the activities and restaurants we wanted to do. The hotel is a bit more rundown than we anticipated and we did have some “unexplained activity” (lights turning on and off and the radio turning on and off on its own) in our hotel room which was fun after taking a ghost tour. The reason for the 3 stars is really the customer service. Our party consisted of four women and we booked a suite with a Friday check in. We checked in and were put in a double room, when we called down and let them know there was an error we were told that it wasn’t available, which was unfortunate but said we could move to the suite the next day. A little inconvenient but not the end of the world. We did also let them know the refrigerator was leaking in the initial room, not because it bothered us but we didn’t want them to have a mess on their hands and they didn’t really care. The happy hours were a cute touch with everyone getting a glass of wine, and a nice courtyard to drink in. The pool area was also cute and quiet, the bar wasn’t set up- probably due to it being November. When we checked out is when we have had the most aggravation. The hotel charged us for two nights of valet parking, which we didn’t utilize. All 4 nights at the suite pricing when we only had three and they didn’t utilize the $20 daily food and beverage credit, which they really promoted to use their restaurant (which had a good breakfast). The back and forth with customer service had been going on for two weeks as it’s a few hundred dollars difference and they are not returning calls. We did check out early, but we waited at the front desk for 5 mins for the night auditor to go over the invoice and no one came and we had to uber to the airport. I highly recommend making sure the invoice is correct before leaving and probably wouldn’t stay at this location again.

Wonderful Great location, close to the river and parks for my dog. The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous. I give a thumbs up to Markiesha who was at the front desk and helped us with anything that was needed. Hotel is very dog friendly which I was looking for when I booked the Kimpton Brice

Girls Weekend Home Base Kimpton is one of my preferred brands when traveling. This Kimpton could use a little finesse, but overall was a good experience. Rooms were comfortable, a little tired, but not a major detractor. Social hour was nice - especially the extended nature of of it. Restaurant food was great. Service was solid - especially Brian at the front desk and Peter in the restaurant. There were other staff members we interacted with who were less service oriented, but those that went above and beyond made up for it. A few details made it feel less Kimpton-like than usual. Morning coffee was a mess and mostly depleted during the stay. Restaurant team warned us of long wait times on Saturday evening one night - even though we just wanted a night cap. We stayed and it was great overall and with quick service but you could tell they had been overwhelmed earlier. Breakfast was good, but slow. I would say don't expect the standard Kimpton experience here, but don't cross it off your list based on that. Location is off the main drag but walkable to just about everything.
