Hotel Would Have Been Fine if Not for the Ungodly Stench Me and my husband stayed for one night at this hotel due to attending a concert in the area, and at first we were pleased. The hotel is close enough to the venue (Thompsons Point in Portland) and seemed fine, although there was a cleaning product odor when we first walked in. The carpet seemed... moist, and was bunched up in places. Whatever-- we are not picky, and were basically only there to sleep. After the concert, we returned to the room to attempt to sleep and were horrified. Although the sheets themselves on the bed seemed clean and smelled fresh, the comforter and blanket placed on the bad STUNK. And I don't mean a faint odor, I mean it was disgusting to the point that we had to kick them off the bed and slept with just the top sheet over us. The smell was horrific and we could not even have them close to our faces; it was as if they had NEVER been washed in decades. This spoiled our entire stay in the room, and we did not even feel the room was hygienic enough to shower in. Note that I am not ordinarily sensitive to smells at all! We left very early the next morning. I have stayed in many, many hotels all over the world and never encountered such a thing. The room would have been completely fine if they laundered their linens! Nasty.

Can I have my money back? You should refund me, really. First, the temperature was 85 in the room and the AC didn’t work. We all felt sick with the heat. Second, there were no towels for everyone. I went to the front office to request to change rooms and get extra towels but couldn’t find anyone. Third, we ran out of hot water in the middle of the shower. This hotel is at fault with the bare minimum.

Nice and clean hotel stay The room was clean and spacious. Nice and clean and spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows and only 92 bucks, which is a pretty good deal on Mothers day weekend. Would recommend for a good room on a budget. Glad i was able to find this one

Family The room is very dirty, esp the carpet, the carpet is very sticky and smelly. I got sick because of the unhygienic. We ask to change our room. But the reception said there is no available room that they.............. Note, please look after the cleanliness of your room.

Great place to stay especially if you can get a good rate Very comfortable bed pillows were nice quiet location great grounds looked good when we drove in. The hotel was exceptionally clean the staff seemed exceptionally nice. Good price. One of the best Americas best
