Will select a different Scottsbluff Hotel next time Downside: Overnight stay, front desk lady not welcoming at all, A/C in room didn’t work, maintenance had left for the day, desk staff suggested maybe A/C might kick in later, at husband’s insistence…we were moved to another room but it had an odor. Bathroom needed updating. Upside: Hotel Mon-Thur had a 2 drink pp “happy hour” hosted by a friendly Dave. He also set up the breakfast the next morning. Usual hotel breakfast. Likely will select another hotel next time.

Good Hampton Inn I utilize Hampton inns a fair amount in personal and business trips. The Scottsbluff location is what you should expect at a Hampton. Clean building and rooms. Comfortable beds and a decent breakfast spread. Courteous staff. Good job Scottsbluff Hampton.

Good Stay Overall We stayed Monday-Wednesday in May. The room itself seemed a bit small for a Hampton Inn. The beds are very comfortable, every room has a small refrigerator, but no freezer compartment. They also have a microwave. I like that they have large bottles of hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body gel on the wall. You don't have to worry about running out like you do with the tiny bottles some hotels give you. The water pressure is good, but the safety bar is placed right in the middle where you stand for the shower and it gets in the way. Be careful not to bang your arm on it. The bathroom is showing it's age with chips in the wood vanity, cracks in the wall, etc. the tile in the bathroom crackles when you walk on it making me worry it might snap in half. There is a closet with ironing board in it. There were plenty of drawers for storage. The linen and bedding were very good quality and there was plenty of good lighting. The window shades were excellent. Blocking out all sunlight or use just the filter shade if you want some privacy and still a little light. The air conditioner worked well. We didn't swim or use the hot tub, but I felt the water in the pool and it seemed the perfect temperature for swimming. However, the whole first floor smelled like a pool. The coffee was some of the best we have ever tasted and it's available all day in the breakfast seating area, but you will have to warm it up in the microwave if you get some after 10:30 am. The breakfast was very good. We had eggs, country potatoes, sausages one day and the next day they also offered french toast. There was also Oatmeal, fruit, bagels, yogurt, etc. We were very happy with breakfast and the sunny dining area where we ate. The staff were nice and if you bring dogs, there is plenty of grass around the hotel, as well as a small fenced dog area. The parking is good and the area seems very safe. There was only one elevator working and there was a short wait for it everytime. If it were very crowded I can imagine it would be a long wait with only one functioning elevator. I felt it was a little overpriced at $159 for a weeknight, but that was what the other comparable hotels were charging as well. Overall, we would recommend this hotel and enjoyed our stay.

a good stay We stayed here for one night while visiting the nearby Oregon Trail sites. Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel breakfast was good, with the typical Hampton Inn selections. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable (except for the flimsy plastic chair provided for our desk, not suitable for working at the desk at all). A few other things marred our impression of this particular Hampton: first, the young man who checked us in was not friendly at all, nor did he welcome us as Diamond Hilton Honors members. When we got to our room, we found that the A/C was off (it was a 100-degree summer day); it took an hour to cool off our studio suite. I would recommend this hotel but their efforts could be improved

Loved this hotel Loved this hotel. My husband was impressed that the rooms also each have a picture by the room number. That way if he forgot the number, he could go by the picture. We received 2 complimentary drink tickets for happy hour. Hotel & rooms were exceptionally clean & comfy. Staff was very, very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!!
