Great place to stay Becca was very welcoming and very helpful with suggestions on where to visit when our flight was cancelled. We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and clean. They allowed us to leave our luggage and car there while roamed around til our room was ready. Would stay again.

Minimal Hotel w/Hostel-like vibe Fine hotel if you are out and about in the city and spending a minimal amount of time in the room itself. Rooms are small and bathrooms are tiny.

Hotel Max rocks! We had a comfortable stay at the Hotel Max. The room was good for our needs and is centrally located to the few sites that Seattle affords. We were able to walk to the Space Needle, Pikes Place and along the riverfront. The complimentary morning coffee and fruit bowl was great. Unfortunately, we didn't take advantage of the complimentary 5pm beer in the lobby. We especially liked the Sub Pop/Rock memorabilia in the lobby and the general rock vibe throughout the hotel.

great hote; Very clean and comfortable. Short walk to Pikes place, but far enough away that you don't get all of the noise.

Stay Clear We stayed at the Max 5 years ago. Our experience then was good. Unfortunately, the hotel has declined considerably and is not worth staying at. Critically, for a hotel in a tech-savvy city, the hotel claim of inclusive fast internet service is false. The capacity is so limited that one struggles to get on the internet, then waits endlessly for pages to load before they time-out and leave you looking at a blank screen. The hotel staff has no solution for this and although we tried to different server points, neither was any good. Materially, the hotel quality has declined as well. The door to our room did not close fully and had to be pulled or pushed closed on leaving or entering the room. This is a clear security issue. The desk chair was broken and did not sit level. When my wife requested additional pillows, they were sent up without pillowcases. Finally, with the closure of the restaurant next door to the Max, the hotel now sits in a food desert where it is impossible to find breakfast without a long walk from the hotel. Better to book a hotel with a restaurant open for breakfast.
