The Resort at Governor’s Crossing Last minute long weekend at Dollywood and Splash Country. We decided to book a condo at The Resort @ Governor’s Crossing and I am so glad we did. The condo’s are fully furnished with a dish washer and washer & dryer. They offer a children’s club with activities scheduled daily, mostly 8/9am until 5/6. There is an indoor & outdoor splash pads, hot tubs, pools, slides and an indoor wading pool. Miniature golf, playgrounds and outdoor smores fire pits, they even have the prepackaged s’mores kits for sale. Picnic areas with grills, Dollywood is 5-10 minutes away, Walmart and a variety of restaurants within a short drive. We have absolutely loved it here & will be making this a yearly trip. Staff is so helpful and friendly. Kit, a front desk clerk certainly made our check-in a pleasant experience. He was helpful and funny! The kids will be talking about this trip for years! Best value hands down!

Peaceful The condo was nice as always this made our second stay there. The only complaints I have is that we were not told that most of the water activities were down and that was the only reason why we came back. It would have been nice to have had an email stating that the water activities were down in advance. Make sure to ask if they are working before you book!

We will be back! We had such a great stay at the Resort! We felt safe in the Resort and enjoyed being able to return from Dollywood and get in the perfect temperature pool.

Should I nit pick? 3.5 stars We stayed here for a 4 day stay with family in a 3 bedroom condo. Only one elevator in the hotel working that smelled like burnt rubber. Very spacious and fairly clean, however, the rooms are very basic. It needs major remodeling with new floors and furniture. Our closet door did not close due to warping and the bathroom that accompanies the bedroom is extremely small. The door cannot open due to the toilet being right behind it. The major set back to this hotel is the temperature of the pool. It is EXTREMELY cold, even for August. The pluses - we were given a coupon that gives the kids a free build a bear and a free seasonal craft. When we went, it was making a pillow. They offer a butterfly garden where you can release butterflies. They have a yard where you can watch movies and they provide popcorn. They offer free popsicles at the pool at 2pm. It is near the outlets and Walmart The amenities provided are very nice. I can overlook the furniture but the cold pool was a major turn off. If the pool was better thermostated, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.
