Good Location to Harbor Cute hotel and was appropriate for the price. Seward is a quirky little town and the hotel/motels are too. It was super clean, had everything you would want or need. There is NO VIEW, it sits about 2 blocks off of ocean, but it is close to the harbor, within walking distance. The staff was great and very helpful.

Great value for a comfortable stay Super retro rooms straight out of the mid-80s, but clean and comfortable and a good location and value. You’re not in Seward to stay in your hotel room! Front desk was also very friendly and helpful, and you get daily housekeeping. Our bathroom didn’t have shampoo, conditioner or tissues so be prepared for that. Definitely would stay here again.

Clean, great location, but you get what you pay for! My husband and I stayed at the Harborview Inn in Seward in late July. We waited too long to book our accommodations but luckily Harborview Inn had availability. First, the good… The hotel room rates were more reasonable than others. It offers free parking and the location can’t be beat. Mary, the hotel manager, is fantastic and very personable. The rooms are clean and housekeeping did a great job each day. Now the bad… The bed was horrible! We were booked for a Queen bed but what we really slept on was a double. The springs in the bed were worn out so it was uncomfortable. The small pillows were just as horrible as the mattress. If that wasn’t bad enough, the walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbors all night long. Not sure if it was their TV but we heard them all night long. I had to turn on my white noise app on my phone just to fall asleep. So, if sleep is very important to you, you might want to choose another hotel. A note to the owner: Time to refresh your mattresses and bedding and invest in soundproofing your rooms. Mary makes up for what it lacks.

Nice comfortable stay! Great location, comfortable room. Nice spot midway between the harbor and the little downtown so it’s an easy (but decent) walk to either end of town. I’d definitely recommend if you’re planning to visit Seward, especially if you do an early morning boat tour of Kenai NP.

Friendly and Convenient place to stay Staff was very friendly, room was adequate, location is convenient. Mattress & bedding could use an update, but was never uncomfortable. Opening window was essential to getting some air circulation, but then we had to contend with trying to sleep with midnight sun. Still, just a minor inconvenience. My biggest suggestion is adding pillows. We each had one pillow the size of a postage stamp LOL. I guess we probably could have asked housekeeping for extras.
