_ Only place I wanna stay at _ We have stayed here four times now and loved every stay. The rooms are hugh airy bright and have a kitchen we never use. We do use the refrigerator and it was super cold. Checking in and out always a breeze. The rooms are always clean. Didn't use this trip but the pool looked super clean. It's pure joy staying at this location even if the breakfast dwindled since covid. There is no other hotel I want to stay in when visiting the Cincinnati area. ❤️___

Rude desk girl There are 2 of these hotels close together. A west and a east. I went to the wrong one, but they were very friendly there at the west, this one, not so much. The front desk girl has a major attitude! The rooms are just decent. The clientele is scary and I hate the girl at the front desk. 10/16/2023 6pm

Clean, Weird, Wreaked of Weed Honestly, I never write these reviews. And here I am. We were really disappointed with our stay. We were in town with our daughter who has special abilities and needed a place to stay while we were at the Children’s hospital all week, we chose Sonesta because of the addition of the kitchen space for our daughters meds and separate room for sleeping her. All that was great. The staff was kind, but unhelpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, everything was comfy and put together nicely. However - the entire hotel smelled like weed and cigarettes. We couldn’t move rooms due to our daughters equipment set up and had planned to stay another night, but opted out instead. We had headaches both nights. The trash and towels were left in the hallway overnight and we couldn’t find the plates and silverware etc. turns out that they were never taken out of the dishwasher and put away. A few still dirty and needing rewashed. If it wasn’t for the smell of weed giving us headaches, maybe we’d stay again. But it’s not worth the risk, so we won’t be booking another trip here. Hope this helps someone else.

Horrible!!! I booked the 2 queen suite which was very spacious. It had a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. At one time this place was good however it is in deplorable condition. The carpets are filthy in the hallway. All of the tables had large cracks and the table in the kitchen area was very wobbly. One of the doors on the dresser would not close. There was no shampoo conditioner or bodywash which is provided since it is an extended stay. There were crumbs under the kitchen cabinet. There was so much dirt in the bathroom on the floor. In the bathroom and the hallway one of the lights were burnt out. This place needs cleaned and renovated desperately. There was garbage and dirty towels all lined in the hallway. My husband called for a wake up call and was told that she did not know how to do that. We were supposed to stay 2 nights however after 1 night we checked out. I will never stay at this property again.

Gone downhill We had stayed at this hotel for a number of years pre-Covid. Back then, it rated favorably with competing places like Homewood Suites. Not now. The carpeting in the halls looks ancient and smells. The breakfast is a joke - or missing in action completely. One morning at 7:15 there was no coffee for at least 25 minutes of waiting. And no cold cereals, no breakfast sandwiches. The front desk clerk was of no help. Maybe someone didn't show up for work, but the clerk wasn't trained to deal with the issue, even by explaining the problem if there was one. The room suite itself was fine, but next year we'll look elsewhere. Which is too bad for Sonesta, as we have gone to several other Sonestas on the strength of being pleased in Sharonville. Now we will think twice about the brand.
