Lots of bugs and dirty rooms. Room was very dirty. Lots of bugs. Crumbs and weird sauces on chairs, couch, chairs. Sticky liquid left on dresser and in drawers. Bed comforter had chocolate smeared on it in multiple places. Terrible maintenance work, shower rod falling out of wall. Just another terribly maintained and terribly cleaned hotel.

Disappointed. Good news: bed was comfortable, room was quiet, and the fitness room was good. Bad news: The outside temp was 33 degrees and the portico was icy to the point of being scary. Even though we didn’t mention the lawsuit they had pending because of the untreated ice outside the front door, the desk clerk was surly when we said hello. Our 1st room on check-in was 58 degrees, so we cranked up the heat, used the exercise room for an hour and upon returning to the room, the temp hadn’t changed at all. We went to the front desk, asked for a different room, and mercifully a new desk clerk gave us one. This second room was freezing. I looked at the heating a/c unit and it was set to cool and 52 degrees. How and why would they have a room set to cool in late November? The 3rd room had a heater that worked. Lastly, Sheridan is a small town with not a lot of restaurant choices. The few in town were nowhere near this hotel.

Good Jump Off Point Up on the hill away from town but easy access to interstate. Room was ok except that this room for some reason had an occasional Oder from a processing plant or outside construction work (only lasted a half hour but will wake you up in the morning). TV was ok but I have a hard time with those cheap remotes. Breakfast was medeocker. Careful when you park. If you leave you'll lose your spot and end up parking in the back forty. Queen beds have no problem. Can't remember the bathroom so it must be ok. Got a decent Mexican restaurant in town but has TERRIBLE salsa. Good jump off point for Custer's Little Big Horn or Yellowstone (We came from Rapid City, SD).

Nice Stay This hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. The only issue was that the room AC thermostat was not accurate. I mentioned it to the clerk and she was very receptive and wrote it down for maintenance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Worst experience I had already stayed at this hotel before with a reasonable experience but that all changed this year. The clerk at the front desk kept talking to someone who was clearly not a hotel patron when I checked in. I was exhausted and waiting to get to my room and, after falling asleep, kept getting woken up by what sounded like someone next door having trouble with their room key. Turns out it was someone swiping to get into my room and they started rattling the door. I yelled because it appeared to be a break-in only to find out it was the clerk. The woman claimed "I was not in the system" but somehow knew it was my room number. And why she didn't just call to clear up any problems? Instead, she tried to break in. I was appalled and I got no sleep.
