Nice front desk girl and maintenance man We started off on a rough patch. The hotel room we were given had a dirty sheet and the toilet wouldn't flush. I will say that the receptionist was very nice, and the maintenance man did everything he could to help us. We ended up in a different room. The room we got worked out fine and was very comfortable.

Bulldoze and start over I reserved 3 rooms for myself and my two children’s families. We absolutely could not stay. We left without any refund. All three rooms were horrible! The carpets were terribly stained. The air conditioner filters were blowing dust. HAIR EVERYWHERE. Spots of mold on curtain. 5 broken cars behind hotel. Doors would not latch shut, and all three room locks were broken and moved to different spot.

Too many things in one night We booked this room on our choice hotel app as we did all of our hotels during this 4000+ mile road trip and when we got to the hotel they only had one room left and they were having trouble to put us into a room she called her manager on her cell and was able to put us into the room they were having elevator issues and the elevator guy came twice while we were there that evening because the door at main floor would not shut so we had to use the stairs. The back stairwell smelled of smoke in a non-smoking no pet hotel. Our king size bed suite smelled of must, mold mildew smell and when we opened the bathroom door there were towels in a pile on the bathroom sink. We went back down to the front desk and told them of these issues they did have our room re-cleaned for us and they sprayed a bunch of cleaning smell in the room to try to get rid of the must and mildew smell I was told that if I didn't want to stay in the room I had to decide within the 1/2 hrs when we were first there they didn't have any more king size beds we would have to get put into a double bed and we would have to pay more because that was up cost. The host at the front desk was friendly and seemed to want to help but I think she was uncertain of what she could do. I had febreze and perfume in my bag and I sprayed our room more and was able to stay the night. We went to bed and after we went to bed a few hours later the fire alarm went off and we were all outside until the fire department cleared it for us to be able to go back inside. Our Room: musty mildew mold smell The furniture in our room and the rugs were stained and had melted spots and the doors look like they were banged into a lot and had been damaged. I know some of these things are out of their hands like the elevator and the fire alarm but it was just the icing on top of the cake. When I checked out the next morning all the person told me was that she apologized for the evening before and I said do you mean the fire alarm or everything else she said everything else and that was all, they never comped us anything they never offered anything else we paid the full price of our room and left. I don't usually complain I usually hush up but this was another stop along our way and our 6th night in a hotel and our first issue with any of our stays. They had re-cleaned our room and sprayed a lot of some type of cleaner and because we were looking to just have a place to rest/sleep we stayed but do Not plan on revisiting.

Average! We stayed on one night at Comfort Suites Shreveport. It is located near Walmart. We bought food from Walmart for our dinner. The breakfast was good. The room was old. The sofa and the carpet were not in good condition. The bed was good. Parking was adequate.

Go somewhere else! Cold pool, Noisy kids & no answer desk Worst night I have ever stayed!1)Booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool, I needed to do laps for some rehabilitation! Drove 30 minutes farther just to have an indoor pool! The pool was a COLD 50 degrees!2) Asked for a QUITE room because we were tired and needed sleep! The connecting room had about 5 kids running and screaming, kicking the walls, and even knocking on my door until about 12 midnight! Called the front desk and there was no answer. I finally passed out from exhaustion. The next morning they even knocked on my connecting door again! 3)The breakfast is bearable, with lumpy oatmeal and sausage that needed another few minutes in a skillet to brown. When I went down to the front desk the next morning there were people checking in and out so they were very busy and waited about 10 minutes, I finally just gave them my key cards and left.4) I tried to call to tell them and there is no customer service to answer. I even tried online there is no one to complain to! When ask for compensation, they declined because no one answered the phone when I called or 'talked' to no one ON the property they refused!! Next time a kid is knocking on the connecting door answer it and tell them to 'Sit down and be quiet! knock it off!" obviously the hotel or their parents do not care! Don't go for a swim the pool is not heated!
