Not Quite the Countryside Inn We Were Use To First of all, if you are used to other Country Inn and Suites, you need to know that this is not a typical franchise. It is obviously an in-progress rebranding of some other hotel chain. The hotel is located near the highway exit with other hotels and a truck stop in the area though it is isolated from town and residences. There was nothing nearby that did not require at least a short drive. The restaurant attached to the hotel was closed down. There is free off-street parking with ample space to accommodate larger vehicles. Upon arrival, we encountered confusion at the front desk. Even though we arrived at 7:00 pm and had a reservation, the room was not ready because the hotel had fallen behind in cleaning rooms. Additional staff were called in but they couldn't decide who should clean the rooms and who should staff the front desk. Other customers were also being held up. Many of the staff members were not dressed professionally. The hotel did have a large swimming pool and an exercise room with four machines. There were also onsite laundry facilities. Because clean rooms were not available, we were upgraded to a whirlpool room which we didn't want but took because it was clean and available upon check in. It was a large room with a separate bathroom (shower and tub). The whirlpool was actually in the living area. We had a large king bed, desk and chair, bench, lounge chair, mini fridge with open freezer section, microwave, coffee maker, ironing board and iron, and larger size toiletries. There was a working accessible ice machine. Ice water and decaf coffee were available in the lobby area. It was a full hot breakfast with eggs, potatoes and sausage patties, waffles, biscuit and gravy and other continental items. The internet was spotty and slow, and I overheard multiple complaints. It was quiet throughout the night despite being crowded. There was walking space around the hotel with some outdoor seating. The door keys didn't work less than 24 hours after getting them. Our room cost $124.81 with taxes and fees.

dirty and out of food All the booking sites I looked at said this was a nice hotel. We stayed at several Country Inn & Suites on this 3 week trip so I went ahead and booked a reservation. I was so disappointed in this place. we had 2 rooms. one was not cleaned from the previous guest so we were moved. The rooms were dirty, there were bugs on the floor, the air conditioner didn't work in one of the rooms. There was no ice. There was no waffle mix or yogurt for breakfast because they said they were waiting on a truck. The biscuits were stale. Luckily there was cereal and milk. Our room key didn't work as we were trying to pack up and when I asked for a new key the attendant didn't even ask my name before just handing over a key that may or may not have been my room. That made me more uncomfortable than the bugs. I DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here.

AVOID THIS LOCATION AVOID THIS LOCATION The back entry door doesn't lock, nor was our room key lock working....just push the door and you've entered. This location is horribly understaffed; this location is not secure; the breakfast attendant hadn't even showed up by 6am and the third shift desk clerk didn't see any need to prepare coffee and food items for the guests. Neither ice machine were working; the entire facility had no TV service. The only good thing was Natia, a manager at the nearby Quality, who came to assist with breakfast and attending customers' complaints....which there were many, too many!

Unsatisfied, overpriced Room had CAT PEE smell, wifi was out so no TV, Ice machine broken, bathtub caked in hard water, found a few bugs, hair on the beds. Light bulbs out, feet stuck to the carpet. Way over priced..... If they cared for the rooms like the lobby it would be amazing Room 143......

Trashy, Dirty, Avoid this Hotel Room had a very bad smell, and was not clean. There were dead bugs everywhere along the walls, and the floors were dirty. There was long straight hairs on the bathroom floor and a spiderweb in the corner where some of the hair was. The upholstered chair was filthy and smelly. There was no soap so we had to go buy our own because the front desk clerk said they had run out of soap. The hallways hadn’t been vacuumed and the carpets in and out of our room were dirt stained. When we went for breakfast there wasn’t any, because they said the truck didn’t come in, but both kitchen doors were open, and there was clearly packaged food in boxes tossed in a very dirty floor. The kitchen floor had huge spills and there was a rotten oranges smell coming from it as you walked into the lobby. The outside of the hotel was dirty, with weeds and trash everywhere. The whole place is a mess.
