Dated This hotel was clean, had all you really need for an overnight, but it’s really run down. I know they are planning renovations, which look long overdue. Just dingy and old. Breakfast was the usual. Unfortunately, the pool was closed as they were waiting on City inspections. Not the hotels fault. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

We love Holiday Inn Express in Silver City, NM Excellent place to stay in Silver City. We had stayed there a number of years ago, then recently twice in a month. Excellent room, great breakfast that is served at 5:30, which is great for our schedule. The room is clean, and everyone working there is very friendly and pleasant

A mixed bag This is an older property that could use a major renovation. Our toilet had some nasty marks in it, and the room was rather dark. That said, it was otherwise well cleaned and comfy. The location is good, and the front desk was super friendly and service minded.

Part hotel/part kennel We recently stayed here for one night. The hotel was okay. It is NOT a new hotel. I would estimate it is 20-30 years old. It is nowhere near downtown Silver City.. It is, however, just off the main road into town. It would have helped our return at night, if its sign had been working. It wasn't. The room was okay. Not great but not bad either. Breakfast was only modestly edible. Toast for me, from the somewhat sad offerings. OJ, in separate containers, was good. Coffee was pretty good, too. For us, we wanted a hotel but, instead, we got a hotel AND a kennel. A LARGE dog on our floor started howling at the moon from about 5:00 pm onward, for maybe 3hours. I assume its owner(s) had gone to dinner and left their dog behind. Huh?! Great for them, maybe, but for the rest of us paying to stay at a HOTEL? No, we got to feel the effects of the hotel owner deciding to turn its hotel into a part-time kennel. And our room was merely on the same floor - not next to - the dog. But no one could miss that howl.
