Quality Inn & Suites Silverthorne - Copper Mountain

Quality DUMP Inn Motel This place is an ABSOLUTE DUMP. On top of it the general manager, Raman, is rude and also shady with his business practices. Upon checking in, was asked if we had a pet, no we did not, but they still charged a $20 pet fee. Based on other reviews, this seems to be common practice, charging a fee when no pet is present. Spoke with an employee, and a few days later, Raman, the GM, and the issue/refund was not resolved. Had to waste even more time disputing the charges with my credit card. The follow up email from Raman was charming to say the least, let alone how he raised his voice at me on the phone. Not today, Satan. Regardless of the pet fee, this MOTEL (it doesn’t deserve to be called a Hotel), is an absolute DUMP. $240 for a Saturday night and I left with the eebie jeebies. The room was permeated with the smell of some cheap cleaner, we opened the windows while we were gone for 8 hours to clear it out, thankfully that worked. A/C was on its last legs, and took some tinkering to get it working properly. I can only explain the pillows as inserts to throw pillows on a couch. The ikea pillows I have in my spare bedroom at home are luxurious compared to what they offer at Quality Inn MOTEL. The entire MOTEL is so dated, flashbacks to 1992, and so are the amenities. This is the kind of place that hides secret cameras in the room, thank god I didn’t shower here. You’ve been warned. Also, I didn’t eat breakfast here, but as we left we did see food piled up at 10am, looking like they were saving it. Tasty.

Stayed one night. This property is located 1 minute off of I-70 and is convenient to all services. Check-in was smooth and our room had everything we needed for our short stay. Price was very fair for one night. Beds were very comfortable. Room had a safe, micro and large fridge. The parking lot is small so finding a space late might be an issue. Breakfast was hot and offered a variety of selections. My only concern with the property is that I would not stay in a first floor room again. There were men (not sure if guest or vagrants) who kept trying to stare into our room window from outside. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and she asked me what I wanted her to do. I told her to go out and run them off, but she said that she couldn't. Not the answer I expected, but we dealt with it. Moral of the story, stay on the second floor.

Best Customer Serive! Fantastic stay as we needed a bed for our long drive from Gunnison County back to Grand County area where we live. I left my favorite coat there and they kept it in lost and found. Special shout-out and thank you to the Manager Ramon and I believe Samuel was the other person's name that held onto and actually tried to ship my coat to where we live...they kept it until a friend was driving through and was able to grab it....outstanding hotel and exceptional customer service!

Saddened By Decline We have stayed at this Quality Inn several times over the last five years. We have seen a steady decline in the accommodations. Room was dated, but was fairly clean, towels were very thin, hair on ice bucket ( not ours) , ac was ok. The “ icing on the cake”…..We are Choice Diamond members. Our complimentary gift was 2 bottles of water and two packaged cookies that expired July 2023. Two months ago. Wow! Made us feel extra special. Next time in the area we will stay someplace else.

Good price, Good beds, Good breakfast. Good hotel choice in Silverthorne. Good price, beds are good quality and the breakfast is very good. This hotel really steps up their game as one of the best budget hotels in Silverthorne. I also recommend Bakers Brewing across the parking lot. Excellent food and craft beers. Enjoy your stay at Quality Inn.
