Great stay - highly recommend We stayed here on our way home from Yellowstone heading back to Illinois. Stay was started on a great note when I actually was recognized at check in as a platinum rewards member and offered a small welcome amenity (compared to our stay 2 nights earlier at HI Express Buffalo, WY where the front desk could not have cared less) and was upgraded to a king suite. Front desk clerk, don’t remember her name, was very pleasant for late on a Friday. Great room, unfortunately we didn’t arrive until 8 so we really did not have an opportunity to enjoy the room. Breakfast was normal HI Express breakfast. Probably won’t be returning to Sioux City soon, but if I did I definitely would stay here again

Plainfield to Sioux City Very nice property. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast with a good choice of items. The bathroom was clean and modern. The pillows were great and the bed was comfortable. The property was conveniently located with good choices for dinner nearby.

NO HOT TUB as advertised Nice place but in the Amenities online it said Hot Tub/Spa, but there isn’t one!!! No correction a month later. When I got a call back, the person on the phone BLAMED it on Priceline site but I booked thru H E! Needless to say I will not be recommending it.

Great Location We were in town for a basket ball tournament at the Arena. This location is great for the Arena, shopping and food. The hotel was clean and well maintained. I'm not sure if its newer or recently remodeled. I loved the Dove products in the bathroom and the beds were great. The kids enjoyed the pool also. There were 15 families in our group and another group staying at the hotel was in town for a funeral. The only complaint I have is the policy on the meeting room. The funeral group was setting up in the lobby for a family function/reunion of sorts. Our group was ordering pizzas and out of respect for the other group, wanted to use the meeting room. We were told it was a $150 charge and the lobby was a public space. I said ok, just trying to be courteous and avoid a possible issue. There wasn't one and we all had nice visits, but felt like we could have used the other room.

Best HIE This is the best HIE I have stayed at. We had been travelling for almost a month and stayed in some hotels 4 times the price that did not equal the comfort of this hotel. This is not a 5 star chain and does not pretend to be. This location represents the best of HIE, and believe me we have stayed at some that were pretty bad. Koodos to the friendly staff.
