Holiday Inn Express & Suites Smyrna, an IHG Hotel

Good but smell check folks! No one likes vomit smelling sheets! __ I am not sure where to start. I booked third party and got a room type I requested. Pros. Check in was good, very friendly staff. Room and bathroom was clean. We stayed in room 332 interstate side and you can hear the interstate noise. Towels thin and had some holes to me no big deal they still dry you off. But this is a precluding of what was to come. Liked the body washes those were nice, shower was really hot! Bedtime rolls around and I am exhausted the bed was ridiculously comfortable! I think I’m going to sleep well. Nope. There was a smell of Vomit on one of the pillows or in the bedding. It was just horrible. I couldn’t get away from it. My husband was having a medical procedure the next morning and was given a mild sedative to take the anxiety off. So I pretty much just suffered trying to get away from the smell. I do not blame the hotel for this as I am sure they use a laundry service. If it’s in house laundry then well who ever does that should check more closely of towels and sheets that may have stuff like this on it. I can’t blame housekeeping as it wasn’t their fault. Check out the next morning and the lady was bent over her phone from the time I left to take My husband to his doctor this was at 7:45 till the time I arrived back to check out at 9:04 Grant it they did give me an extension on check out for 2pm I didn’t need it. She was nice but never asked if my stay was okay. I would have told her about the laundry. So for the future I would recommend a smell test before you go to bed!

Holiday Inn Express near Nashville Staff was friendly. Had a hot continental breakfast. The beds were decent. The pool is extremely small. If more than one family is in there, you’ll want to skip it (could just be me). About 25 minutes from most entertainment. They didn’t do anything to the room the three days we were here, but they’ll give you clean towels if you ask.

Meh probably no worse than the other hotels out there Overall, the hotel gives a good appearance. However, you get supermarket feet when you walk across the carpets on the first floor rooms. Closely check your towels for foreign hair. If you get my point, the breakfast was good and it seem to be clean.

Wonderful stay.....again! Have stayed at this property several times over the last year....each stay was pleasant and enjoyable. Quiet and comfortable property....nice HIE breakfast with yummy cinnamon rolls. Ivan in the breakfast area is wonderful....thoughtful, kind and thorough. The front desk personnel are very professional and take care of their guests needs with ease. Won't remember all, but Nicole, Patrice, LeTeanna & Leya are a few. Housekeeping staff are also helpful and attentive.....especially Jackie who is extra special. Recommend.

Bathroom cleanliness issues Shower had mold. Outside of toilet had urine on it. Non-carpeted floors were sticky and dirty. Bed was great. Shower temperature and pressure was great Main floor near highway a little noisy Saturday night noisy in hall
