Too noisy AC and building lacking proper insulation, like in budget hotels The rooms are well equipped and comfortable but much too noisy. Air conditioning which is much needed this year is much too noisy to be usable while sleeping. The buildings are also not properly insulated, probably because of cheap construction, like often in budget hotels in North America. However, at $150 a night because of the proximity to Yosemite, that is not a budget hotel! As a consequence, you hear the people in the rooms above and outside traffic noise. The breakfast is all right. The reception staff was not very friendly and welcoming, at least less than usual in hotels in North America.

Convenient and Clean We were only there one night but had a great stay! The room was clean and well-equipped. A lot of places skimp on the small stuff these days, but I appreciated things like makeup wipes in the bathroom, ice bucket, coffee maker etc. It had everything we needed and felt safe/comfortable. The breakfast that's included was great, lots of tasty options (biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, fruit, bagels etc). It was nice to enjoy a full hearty breakfast without having to pay to eat out. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If coming to Sonora I would definitely stay again!

Amazing staff that takes care of their guests! I would call myself a frequenter at the Heritage Inn over the last 2 winters. My husband and love to stay in Sonora during our snowboarding trips to Dodgeridge Mountain Resort, which is only no more than 45min away from the Heritage Inn. I've also stayed at the few other local hotels, i.e., Sonora Inn, Lumberjack.. but the value and service brings me back to Heritage Inn. Service/Support: AMAZING STAFF. I want to give a huge shout out to the manger, Ginger and team member, Tina for being so friendly and helpful. Even after my many visits, my latest "stay" with them really made me ensure I share with all future guests. I booked my latest stay in which I booked through Expedia during a winter storm. Due to the winter storm, there was a tree fallen, which impacted the power lines directly connected to the Heritage Inn and other surrounding businesses. Ginger made sure to call me ahead of my arrival to inform me so that the team can help support relocate me. I ended up coming to the hotel in person to handle this as I didn't see her call until wrapping up our day at the mountain. Upon my arrival, the team (Ginger and Tina) were on top of trying to situate their guests during the power outage.. WITH NO POWER OR HEAT I MIND YOU.. and they were doing it with such good spirits. Tina helped me contact the nearby hotel to reserve a booking without any issues and they sent me away with Expedia's contact to ensure they refunded me for the stay. It's been 2 weeks since I've contacted Expedia initially to try to get my refund and they've been giving me the back and forth. I've also been bugging Ginger to see if she can help close the loop with Expedia to approve the refund.. and she's been so kind through it all, remembering me and ensuring me that regardless if they respond or not, she'd do everything she can to take care of me. As of this afternoon... Expedia finally has processed the refund. All this goes to say is that the team is amazing in supporting their guests even after their stay and is why I'll keep coming back. Thank you to Ginger and Tina! Ease of access: Easily off the exit from 104, the Heritage Inn is easy to access in/out of town. The hotel is in the center of the historic Sonora area, with many options to dining, shopping, and nightlife. We love being just an easy 5-7 min walk from great restaurants and bars. Price: The price is reasonable even on a Friday/Saturday night and while booking last minute the day of. Being mindful of the cost, don't expect any extra bells and whistle -- but Heritage does deliver all the necessities and comfort. Room: We've stayed in various room types- they are all equally spacious and provide comfortable beds, pillows and I feel safe when staying there. Continental Breakfast: Wow, it's an amazing offering after the remodel, eggs, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, all the drinks. This is an added bonus in my eyes compared to the breakfast at the other local hotels.

It is close to downtown Sonora Office was gross Room was clean and bed was comfy. Carpet was gross Did not like the them taking a picture of my license despite I had already paid via PayPal. When Checking out they refused to give me the copy back. It takes 2-3 days for the 100.00 deposit they take for incidentals to be returned to time bank. Very Backwards
