Great customer service! Had a great stay in South Bend at the DoubleTree. A big shout out to Knef at the front desk who was so helpful, Jessica at Baker’s, who showed us great service with a fun personality. (Plus the food was good. ). In the AM JoyAnn who served us breakfast with a smile and was so friendly. Over all it was a good stay ! Visited the university of Norte Dame and loved it.

Average Hilton on balance I'm a Hilton Honors member; so I have stayed at quite a number of Hilton hotels. I'd have to say this one was just average. It had high points and low points. The high points were the staff was helpful, the location was great - right in downtown and safe - parking was plentiful and lots of places to eat nearby. The low points was my toilet wouldn't flush when I first checked in - then - after they fixed it, the handle came off in my hand. Also no quick continental breakfasts as in most Hiltons - and not much choice in their fridge area. Yet... the staff answered any questions and made sure the toilet issues were fixed quickly.

If it weren't for a shortage of rooms for ND home games, this place would be demolished already. Have wanted to stay here for a couple years. What a disappointing experience. Front desk personnel were awesome.. we will start with that. Property is outdated and needs torn down and put to better use. Hotel smells like an old , unventilated office building, in the middle of your grandparents musty basement. Opened the door to our suite, and our shoes stuck to the floor with every step. Bed was mediocre at best, bathroom floor was sticky, and littered with hair. Our view was amazing. It displayed.. a dirty glass wall, overlooking a disappointing dining area. The dining experience was $102 and the only thing edible was chicken strips. The bar was a joke, we ordered something sweet and ended up with some ginger beer, grapefruit and orange concoction. The bar drink mat would have probably tasted better. The area is improving with all the small businesses local to the hotel, but this place is antiquated and needs replaced in the worst way.

Family emergency The room was always kept up by housekeeping the front desk Knef Andy and Alicia and I can't remember the name of the guy who checked me in really were heaven sent because of my situation so they made me feel at home everything was clean the breakfast people were polite the housekeeping was beyond hospitable 10 out of 10 for me thank you to the doubletree staff as a whole!!

Excellence I want to give a great volume of appreciation to Aiyah Arzadon (Double Tree South Bend Indiana) for restoring my beliefs in the Hilton Hospitality. It hasn't been the same since covid. But she literally brightened my day! Her smile and positivity was amazing.
