Not the worst place but could be better. We stayed here for the Moth Man festival in September. When we checked in we were greeted by a gentleman who didn't seem to really wanna talk, just "Checking in?" and "Here are the keys". We went up to our room on the third floor and the room was a disaster, mysterious stains on the walls and bedding, looked like dried blood. Missing shower curtains and marks on the walls. We did switch rooms, one over, and the new room was better. No stains or gross sheets, just some marks on the walls but it looked like it was luggage carts knocking in to it. This hotel did have a free breakfast every morning, it was pretty basic. Cereal was a little stale. But they had a sausage gravy one morning that was to die for! Wished they did that every morning! Basic muffins, breads, and a waffle maker. The staff was always pretty friendly and very courteous, even the housekeepers. They do have on site laundry and a pool as well. I'd stay here if you keep expectations low, just check the room before settling in and you'll be fine.

Don't stay in Room 222, or maybe any other rooom. We stayed there in late July. Multiple items in the room were broken or outdated. We've always enjoyed staying at Comfort Suites but this visit nearly changed our mind! Pictures attached. When I looked back through past reviews, this same room with many of the same issues was mentioned in June.

Dehumifier and Smell Just Wrong Room 104 was humid and musty when we entered: turned on the big dehumidifier that sits in the room, and by the next morning we had emptied it three times, yet the place smelled like a sewer. We should have turned around and walked out the moment we realized the dehumidifier was necessary to even stand the room, but we were so tired. Don’t know about the rest of the rooms, but avoid 104 … Breakfast is basic. Pool looked kind of dirty. Reception very nice.

Pros and Cons of my July Stay For reference, total cost for two nights was $270 (taxes/fees included). My spouse and I stayed in Rm 213. Pros: AC kept the room nice and cool. The bathroom was clean, with plenty of towels. Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Beds were comfy, and sheets/pillow cases looked clean/new. Located very close to I64. There was one of those small, single cup coffee makers in the room (in the bathroom, specifically). Small fridge in the room. Breakfast was available. Cons: It seemed rather dim when we arrived; two burnt out lightbulbs and one missing. Carpet stained in several places (but did look like it had been vacuumed). Small fridge had items in it from previous guest/no freezer compartment. Small, single cup coffee maker had used coffee pod in it from previous guest. Dead bolt latch fell off when my husband locked the door. Bathroom overhead fan/vent not operational, so mirror totally steamed up when showering. Bed covering appeared a bit grungy. Drapes looked like they had something splashed on them (left drape) and were haphazardly hung. Had to go downstairs to use ice machine. Other: I took two bad light bulbs downstairs to get replacements, and was told they didn’t have any. The desk person was able to scrounge up two strange looking used bulbs; one was operational and the other only flickered. The hot breakfast choices first morning were biscuits/gravy and eggs, and waffles, and second morning were sausage patties and eggs, and waffles. Cereal, toast, donuts, and yogurt were also available. My room did not have a hair dryer. There was an indoor pool, but I didn’t pay much attention to it. For the price I paid, I would not stay there again. Had my bill been $200 or under for the two nights, I would stay again. So maybe it depends on the deal you get.

Bad business The pool is filthy the rooms aren't clean. They have nicotine running from the ceiling when you're in the shower the sinks are clogged, People are loud and it smells like Marijuana. They charged us double " by accident" the second night we asked for a late checkout they said no problem. Checkout is at 11 at 958 they charged our card 20 more dollars at 1045 room service came knocking again we told him we had a late checkout we left the hotel at 10 55. They charged us again. Their explanation was they were going off what the cleaner told them. This is shady not good business practice. If a late checkout cost tell the customer before hand. The elevator needs serviced its hitting a wall and bouncing, screeching horrible noises
